Chapter 769 - Chapter 238: The Storm Approaches

The sweet dream ended. Palmer grabbed Hart's feet and dragged him along laboriously. Palmer felt like a psychopathic killer figuring out how to handle the victim's body, but also like a cleaner, using Hart to scrub the floor.

Dragging Hart out of the grand library and through the corridor to the outside of the train station, the cool sea breeze on Palmer's face slightly revived his spirit.

After Bologue warned him, Palmer belatedly realized the eeriness of this place. It made him feel incredibly comfortable, followed by an irresistible drowsiness. If Bologue hadn't awakened him, he might have truly succumbed to such a dreamscape, never wanting to wake.

Palmer murmured to himself, "Never wanting to wake..."

Recalling everything in the dream, Palmer felt a chill of fear, because at one moment, he actually thought that never waking up might not be a bad thing, since what existed in the dream was precisely what he desired.
