Igaris had only one goal tonight: to reach the man known as his father and deliver the truth.
But just then, his ears twitched as his senses catching something he couldn't ignore.
Two voices echoed through a hallway nearby.
A tall man with a commanding presence and sharply handsome features was striding down the corridor. His thick, bushy eyebrows and confident posture marked him as someone of status. But he was stopped by a shorter man—humble in appearance, but clearly agitated and excited.
"Master! Master!" the short man called from behind, catching up. "We've finally located Dorothy!"
The man addressed as Master raised an eyebrow, his footsteps halting. He turned slowly with a smirk twisting across his lips.
"Are you sure this time, Alfred? Or is this just another of Roxanne's clever little tricks?"
But Alfred didn't flinch. His voice was confident now.
