"How could this happen?" Li Ruo stared blankly at the news.
She hadn't clearly seen the figure from the afternoon, because the situation caught her off guard and terrified her to the point of being unresponsive. However, she distinctly remembered someone jumping out from the shadows to chase after the culprit. The situation was extremely urgent, and that person disappeared almost instantly. So, she only remembered a familiar yet unfamiliar silhouette.
Li Ruo hurriedly picked up the cordless phone on her desk and dialed a string of numbers.
"Director Liu! It's Li Ruo, what's going on? Wasn't that person chasing the culprit in the afternoon? How did they suddenly become a suspect of manslaughter?" Li Ruo questioned repeatedly.
