"Hmph, kid, you are nothing but a waste in front of me!" Faceless Elder sneered coldly, the short knife in his hand gleamed as he slashed towards Ye Chen. Gritting his teeth, Ye Chen drew a dagger from his sleeve. Originally, it was a fair duel of dagger against short knife, but Ye Chen could clearly feel the overwhelming power of the masked man's strength. Suddenly, a tremendous force emerged from Ye Chen's chest, pushing him away. Yan exclaimed, "Ye Chen, dodge!"
Yan suddenly leaped forward from behind and pushed Ye Chen aside with both hands. Ye Chen wanted to catch hold of Yan, but it was too late. Helplessly, he watched Yan push him away, while the gleaming knife in Faceless Elder's hand instantly struck Yan's back.
