The massacre lasted for several hours, and the entire venue of the Noble Council was almost a river of blood. By the time Perfikot walked out, her shoes were soaked in blood, leaving a crimson footprint with each step.

However, she did not think of changing her shoes or avoiding it at the time. Instead, she quietly let the blood cover her feet and soak through her shoes.

Perfikot had no peculiar obsession; it was merely a way to remind herself that she had killed so many people today.

Although the deaths of these nobles were merely a result of her anger, and they indeed had their reasons that led to death, every life should be respected, even if they were just a bunch of pigs.

Having killed them, she needed to remember them, for each of their deaths was caused by her.

If Perfikot forgot or ignored the responsibility of taking a life, it would mean she lost the reverence for life that comes with being human.
