Ye Fan and Nami sat down, not paying much attention to Kasam's panicked loss of composure.
Nami stood to one side, looking at Kasam's actions with disdain.
Kasam was terrified, shaking violently, the hundred-plus pounds of flesh on the ground trembling nonstop.
How could he not be scared? The fighter jet squadron had conducted a devastating bombing of Wild Alliance Headquarters. How could one not die in such a situation? Kasam instinctively believed that the ghosts of Ye Fan, Nami, and Ku Eryue had come to find him.
Kasam curled up on the ground, trembling, covering his head with both hands, eyes closed and crouched on the floor, his ears tightly covered by his arms, trying his best not to look or listen, fearing for his life.
"If you do nothing wrong in life, don't fear ghosts knocking at night," Ye Fan said coolly, his face cold.
"A guilty conscience needs no accuser," Nami remarked.
"Hey, get up." Ku Eryue stepped forward and kicked Kasam.
