Chapter 80 - Listed...

Congratulations are in order, the book is finally being released. For an ordinary author like me, releasing a book is truly a love-hate affair. It's like you've finally graduated, able to work and earn money, but there's also a chance of being beaten down by society.

As of now, the book's performance is similar to the data from my last book's release, but I can see that reader retention is quite high, better than the last book. The last one died a quick death right after its release.

Speaking of the last book, it's worth discussing the changes between the two. At least personally, I feel like I've improved a lot after the experience of sacrificing a book. I've avoided some mistakes and have opened up to many new writing styles.

Actually, before this book, I wrote another one, a modern paranormal novel. However, possibly due to the content, the review process took two rounds before approval, not to mention signing a contract, so I was left stunned with a 200,000-word draft.
