This all happened almost instantaneously. Lorenzo could feel the increased force on his neck, but he had no intention of defending. The Nail Sword stirred up scarlet blood, slashing through everything that tried to block it.
The sharp screech was high-pitched, and a horrifying wound split open along Samuel's side, as if some massive monster had clawed at Samuel. The wound extended up to his chest, from bottom to top, nearly splitting open Samuel's entire torso.
At the same time, Samuel's sword also broke through that layer of armor. For concealment, the armor was slightly thin, and was torn under Samuel's sword strike, with the Nail Sword cutting into Lorenzo's flesh.
This was a sword duel among monsters. Both were covered with terrifying wounds, yet stubbornly held their swords, standing like stone sculptures on the ground, with blood dripping from the sword tips.
"So strong..."
After a long silence, Samuel slowly said.
