"Have we arrived at some spider nest?" Kecha asked.
"Could there be giant spiders? I've heard before that there are such monsters in the wilderness outside," Rein said.
"Alright, light the torches and clear the path."
Alyris and Kana lit the torches hanging from their waists and lifted them up, burning away the surrounding cobwebs.
With the path cleared by the torches, it became much easier to traverse.
"There's the smell of blood everywhere here, be careful."
Alyris said.
Of course, it was only the two of them who could smell the scent of blood. The others only picked up a faint fishy smell in the air, nothing else.
"Nothing's going to drop from above, right?" Bobo stared up, feeling a chill creeping over, and couldn't help but shiver.
The upper canopy of this forest was covered densely with spider webs, even forming a thick white layer.
As they stepped further into the woods, the light dimmed.
