"Boom!"

The first defensive line built by the rats was blown open with a massive gap, with numerous rats sent flying into the air by the explosion.
At a distance from the explosion.
On another section of the first line.
"Is it done yet? The rats have surrounded us!"
A Night Watcher captain swung his weapon, slashing at the rats approaching.
Seeing more and more rats, he turned back to ask his teammate.
This time, the rats surrounded them like a tidal wave, densely packed together, and despite the powerful attacks by the Night Watchers, the tide of rats would quickly fill up any cleared space, rendering their slaughter meaningless.
"Almost there!" a Night Watcher operating at the defensive line loudly responded.
"Die, human scum!" A rat screamed as it charged towards them, holding a rough, tattered energy bomb in its hands.
An arrow swiftly pierced through the object it was holding.
Another explosion ensued.
