Ogasaki Ichiro, the president of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, wore a confident smile as he pointed to a modern ship on the 3D projection screen, patiently introducing it to all the guests below.
This is a 5600-ton large ocean exploration ship, mainly used for marine geological surveys. It is equipped with modern seismographs and related exploration equipment on board, capable of using various scientific methods such as gravity, physics, magnetism, and electricity to search for oil and mineral deposits buried deep under the seabed.
One could say this is a highly practical functional vessel, much more advanced than the current mainstream exploration ships in the world.
