The two were lost in a heated kiss; it was unclear how much time had passed. Just as Li Jing was about to take further action, Shi Yang suddenly snapped back to reality and hastily struggled to break free from his embrace.
Her face was flushed, and she cast her eyes downward, not daring to meet Li Jing's gaze.
Li Jing had initially thought that, true to Shi Yang's nature, she would mock and tease as usual, but this time, she was uncharacteristically shy, her eyes evasive, her voice as soft as a mosquito's buzz:
"No, we can't do this."
