As Egil and several dozen Skalings Chaos Warriors stepped into the ruined village, a scout from the front line brought news.
In the storm and cold wind, a raider rider galloped on a warhorse, with a string of human heads hanging behind his mount. The expressions on many of the heads were frozen in the extreme fear they felt at the moment of death, and they were still dripping blood.
"My king! Our fleet has surrounded this island, no living soul will escape, and no one will send any messages from here." The scout said to Egil.
"And the battle?" Egil's voice was calm. The king's war axe craved blood, yet these weak Southerners could not satisfy Egil.
