Jacob squeezed the words out through his teeth, "I will prepare weapons and funding for you."
He must be someone who values emotion, someone who puts human interests first.
This has always been his "persona," and it's the reason people in the district support him. If he loses this persona, he would easily be outdone by competitors, and a new human profit-first advocate would promptly replace him.
This conversation ended on an unpleasant note.
