Alka and the others had only just arrived, but these other teams had already more or less figured out their background and situation. Any team capable of reaching this place and venturing into the unknown possessed both strength and wisdom. They had all made thorough preparations long ago. And they were all seasoned veterans of the sea, having sailed long enough to gather a wealth of information from appearances alone.
"Should we go ashore?" Jason asked, looking at the island not far away.
