Simon's failure was self-evident. Jason had advanced to the Third Stage, but his growing Crystal Dragon hadn't fully matured. Naturally, it didn't provide the expected power feedback. Relying on long-range sniping and some offensive tactics, Jason inevitably failed when targeted. After all, he had only recently reached the Third Stage. Neither his Spells nor his other skills had kept up.
Julia, on the other hand, was essentially a support role, and she hadn't completely adapted to the Treasure she previously controlled. She hadn't had time to develop it, let alone integrate it into her own system. Moreover, that coin Treasure seemed similar to Simon's, not suited for frontal combat. This also led to her failure.
