The World Tree Courtyard is located in the middle of the canopy of the World Tree. To ascend, one must pass through the branches of the World Tree, where not only the air is filled with Elf treehouses but also nests built by Giant Dragons, and mazes constructed by insects.
Without the permission of the World Tree, ascending from the ground would mean crossing countless dragon lairs and tiger dens, a feat comparable to conquering an entire world.
The name of the World Tree's world is not unwarranted. This is a complete forest world, from the bottom to the top, divided into the Lower City District, Upper City District, and the Royal Court.
More importantly, every creature living here regards the World Tree as their mother. Guarding the mother is a battle-ready will to resist that most creatures are willing to fight to the death for.
