"Aihh…that midget takes years off my life…" Hal complained inwardly, shaking his head as he entered the small tent designated for him after reporting his progress to Zephyron.

There was nothing but the brownish-red ground, a sleeping bag, a small chair, and a small table inside.

He had asked Ennya how their first day of clearing went.

As he expected, it couldn't be further from the word smooth.

She went ahead and showed off, telling her subordinates to support her from the back, only to force them to move and deal with the other Fell Beasts when she got stuck fighting four at once, resulting in a few injuries.

But it was about what Hal expected from her.

Heck, he himself didn't know how to lead a platoon, and the empire had just given them one that would follow their every whim.

It was a rather unconventional and ruthless way of teaching them to be leaders.

After all, it was highly likely that the poor youngsters would die under the command of an inexperienced leader.
