Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 — When the Word Turns

The arena trembled.

Not violently. Not spectacularly.

But enough for the stability runes to shiver.

The creature stood upright.

It had spoken.

One word. But that word should never have come from its mouth.

Simulation Arena — Anomaly Detected

Warning

Partial conceptual mimicry in progress

Source: Simulated Entity

Origin: Undetermined

The screens flickered.

Some students laughed nervously.

— "It's talking now?" — "Does that happen often?"

The instructors straightened.

— "…It wasn't supposed to do that."

Isaac — Immediate Reaction

Isaac smiled.

A genuine, excited smile.

— "You're copying?" — "Interesting."

He raised his hand.

— "Kneel."

The word fell.

Sharp. Heavy.

Reality bent.

The creature wavered.

One knee touched the ground.

The stands erupted.

— "It's over!" — "He crushed it!"

Isaac advanced.

— "Now—"

The creature lifted its head.

And spoke.

— "Refuse."

The ground exploded.

Isaac was thrown backward.

This time, he slid several meters.

Stands — Confusion

— "Huh?" — "It resisted?"

— "But he gave a direct order…"

Milim furrowed her brows.

— "This isn't normal."

Douriel clenched his fists.

— "It shouldn't be able to contest."

Mini-Zenkai — Brutal Truth

— Because it no longer obeys.

Diopha felt a shiver.

— It interprets.

— Every word Isaac utters creates a framework. — And it learns to exist within it.

Diopha murmured:

— "It's turning his orders… into rules."

Mini-Zenkai smiled.

— Exactly.

— And a rule… can be circumvented.

The Fight — Third Phase

The creature rose slowly.

Its body was cracking. But its presence felt heavier.

— "Cancel."

Isaac spoke again.

Part of the creature dissipated.

But the rest remained.

It advanced.

Isaac frowned for the first time.

— "…Tch."

He stepped back.

— "Stop."

The creature slowed. But it continued advancing.

Not fast. But inexorably.

Isaac inhaled.

— "Very well."

His aura focused.

— "Listen to me."

Each syllable became sharp.

— "You will—"

The creature spoke simultaneously.

— "Listen."

The verbal clash made the air vibrate.

The screens briefly saturated.

Several students instinctively stepped back.

Keldis — Partial Understanding

Keldis Yeger, arms crossed, no longer smiled.

— "…This isn't a simple opposition."

A student beside him asked:

— "What do you mean?"

Keldis replied calmly.

— "It's not fighting Isaac." — "It's fighting his way of fighting."

Isaac — Maximum Pressure

Isaac breathed harder.

Not tired. But focused.

— "You want to play?" — "Then come."

He pointed at the creature.

— "Break yourself."

The creature cracked from within.

But instead of collapsing…

It adapted.

The cracks became reinforcement lines.

It struck.

Isaac raised his arm.

The impact sent him flying again.

This time, he spat blood.

The stands froze.

— "…He's really suffering."

Diopha — Silent Conclusion

Diopha closed his eyes briefly.

— "He can't win quickly."

Mini-Zenkai nodded.

— And the longer it lasts… — The more dangerous the entity becomes.

— But Isaac knows that.

Diopha reopened his eyes.

— "So he's going to do what he does best."

— Talk until the world yields.

End of Chapter

Isaac rose slowly.

He wiped the blood from his lips.

And smiled.

— "Alright."

— "Change of strategy."

The creature tilted its head.

As if… waiting.
