Chapter 166 - The Ghost of the Snow (1)

A fierce cold draft woke Claude up from his dream. He opened his eyes and saw the vast whiteness surrounding them. He turned to the side and found some other wolves burring from the cold. It seemed that Claude was only safe from it since a Gamma was carrying their Alpha on his back. The big wolf's body heat was enough to shelter the sleeping Claude.

Zia, who walked beside the Gamma carrying Claude, turned to him with a wry smile. She said, "I'm glad you're awake. We made it to the snow fields."

"Sorry, you had to carry me…" Claude didn't know how to acknowledge her words. He just moved around, feeling the straps of cloth used to secure him on the Gamma's back. The wolves soon untied him. 

When Claude got off the Gamma, he turned to Zia again. "Snow fields? Why are we here?"
