Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Two-Star Divine Art – Blood Curse, Pain is Annihilated

In the Naruto World, Orochimaru retracted his gaze and looked at the figures atop the mountain with a lazy, mocking smile.

"Finally found you, the man who dares to call himself a god... Today, I'll shatter your arrogance."

Mere mortals daring to call themselves gods was nothing short of laughable.

Pain stood coldly at the summit, his voice echoing over the mountain.

"Orochimaru, you dare to return. Traitor. You truly aren't afraid of death?"

"Afraid of death?" Orochimaru glanced sideways at Sasuke Uchiha. The two exchanged a knowing look and laughed.

Who was really courting death here?

From the side, the ground cracked open, and a masked figure slowly emerged.

Underneath the swirling mask, the scarlet Sharingan gleamed, making Sasuke Uchiha frown slightly.

Who was this? Why did he also have the Sharingan?

"Sasuke, don't you want revenge?" Orochimaru said lazily. "That masked man—he's the true hand behind the Uchiha Clan's massacre."

"Hiding behind a mask? Show yourself!"

Sasuke snorted coldly and pointed forward.

A bolt of lightning shot through the air, aiming directly at the masked man.

Obito's expression changed drastically. If not for his heightened vigilance, he would have been hit.

Is this really Itachi's brother? His strength had already surpassed the Kage level.

A voice brushed past his ear.

"Trash. What are you looking at?"

Sasuke appeared beside him without warning, clad in golden armor. A golden sword flashed in his hand, its sharp aura locking onto Obito.

Obito's heart turned cold. If struck by this blade, even Kamui might not save him.

At the critical moment, he activated his intangibility and retreated quickly.

The golden blade pierced straight through the body of Hungry Ghost Path, one of Pain's bodies.

The so-called absorption ability was completely ineffective against the golden blade. The body collapsed instantly.

"Impossible!"

Nagato, who controlled Pain remotely, was shocked. Obito was equally stunned.

But Sasuke was indifferent. Like a ghost, he began systematically hunting Pain's other bodies.

The Human Path fell, followed by the Animal Path... One after another, they were slaughtered.

If not for Tendo Pain reacting swiftly with repulsion, even he would have been finished.

"This is it?" Sasuke sneered coldly. "The so-called god? What a joke."

On the way here, Orochimaru had explained the Akatsuki to him. Among them, there was said to be a man who called himself a god, unmatched in strength.

But this was the reality?

He couldn't even survive a single sword strike.

In rage, Tendo Pain flew into the air and gathered all the remaining chakra.

He would use his most powerful move, Super Almighty Push.

"Mortal, today you will witness my divine power! Super Shinra Tensei!!"

Tendo Pain roared.

Centered on himself, a terrifying repulsive force erupted.

The ground was lifted. Mountains crumbled. The sky turned blinding white.

The destructive force was unimaginable.

But just as Nagato thought victory was in hand, a golden thunderbolt pierced the blinding light.

Once a gap appeared in the repulsion field, it collapsed like a deflated balloon.

Tendo Pain froze in the sky as a streak of golden thunder struck him.

Boom.

His body was completely destroyed in an instant.

On the other side, Obito witnessed all of Pain's bodies fall one after another and felt a chill run down his spine.

Was it true?

Had Orochimaru really received the grace of a true god?

The events in the Mist Village... perhaps they really had happened.

If this continued, he would die too!

Fear took over. Obito turned to flee.

Orochimaru smiled lazily.

"Running already?"

Sasuke sheathed his blade and asked indifferently, "Want me to chase?"

"No need," Orochimaru said.

He bit his finger, drawing a bead of blood, and traced a strange rune in the air.

"[Two-Star Divine Art: Blood Curse.]"

The golden blood rune disappeared into the void.

Far away, as Obito was escaping, a sudden chill enveloped his entire body.

Before he could react, he collapsed heavily onto the ground.

"What... when... when did I get hit?"

He struggled to think, but no answer came.

The man who relied on Kamui, always believing himself invincible, was defeated today by a divine technique he couldn't comprehend.

Obito lay there helplessly, powerless to resist.
