Prologue
This was a long and drastic night for the queen. The queen pushed the 13th prince out of her womb. The spring night itself was peaceful and wasn't too hot nor cold.
When her beautiful baby was born everyone rejoiced, saying it is great that another prince has come.
The queen was happy with the praise she heard next to her, but couldn't think much about it.
Her suffering continued, and she screamed in pain. The queen almost passed out after a few more hours of pushing and panting. It slowly became dawn. And another royal came out of the womb. The queen finally didn't feel this pain, she knew it was over. The sun started to shine brighter and brighter, the queen even thought that maybe this was the brightest sun she has ever seen.
She was allowed to hold her new beloved prince in her arms and fed him. The ladies in waiting who helped her during all of this looked in awe of their beautiful queen, who once again birthed a prince.
Little did they know, this would be the last time this prince would be treated as one.
"My queen, my queen!" The man who took the second child for check-ups entered the chambers with another doctor behind him. That man was holding the second royal child. Both kneeled before her. "A princess, Your Majesty, you birthed a princess." Gasps and murmurs entered the room.
"The first princess..?"
"A girl born with a boy in the womb? Wouldn't that make the boy unlucky?"
"Finally a princess is here, this means our Queen won't feel like the only woman."
"That prince won't be considered a prince now?"
The doctor handed the Queen's first daughter to her. She is still too exhausted to speak, but holding both of them was no problem, except tears fell from her eyes.
"The king of Yingzhi has arrived." A servant announced. As everyone bowed and the king made his way to his beloved queen. He stroked her head. "Thank you, my Queen, I see you did two this time. The 13th and 14th prince?" And he gave a peck to her forehead. "One princess." The Queen sleepily said.
"Thank you for another son and a daughter. Let's talk after you have rested. I will see if everything goes well for now." And the Queen could sleep after she had fed her daughter.

"A princess along with a prince in the womb at the same time is a bad omen, my King. We should immediately terminate him from any rights to the throne." The man who the king trusted the most declared. "Chancellor Jin, do you really think that this is necessary?" He looked him in the eyes. "Well of course Your Majesty, if a child like that is on the throne, it would be the end of Yinghua, this is what was decided since the establishment of our kingdom."
"You might be right, though I still want him to be treated well. After all, he is my newborn son. And what about my daughter?"
"My king, I think you can decide this matter for yourself. Usually girls like that would be killed, but I doubt you want this to happen, seeing she could be useful for partnerships in the future." A cold glare appeared on the king's face. "I think I have a good idea how I want her to be treated now. I recommend you don't refer to my newborns or any of my children as objects in the future. The chancellor immediately lowered his head. "Please forgive me for displeasing you, I will think before I speak next time. I must have forgotten my manners."
"As long as you get it it's fine."

"Little princes, I heard that we finally have a sister." The 17 year old first prince said to his 11 younger brothers. "We must protect her and make sure she is the most beloved girl in the kingdom. If I see that any of you bully her I won't tolerate it. As for our 13th brother, we should be nice to him. And make sure we are a good role model to him. As he too is part of the royal family, we as brothers should never make him feel like an outcast. Do you understand?" The servants are smiling and enjoying the sight of how the first prince lectures his brothers, while they are looking after the younger ones. "Didn't expect anything less from Brother Shenrui." Said the second prince. And others cheered. While the youngest were laughing at this cheering.

"The new additions of the royal family, prince Haoran and princess Mireille of the kingdom of Yingzhi, of the royal family bearing the name of Hua. New flowers to strengthen our kingdom. Royal prince Haoran Hua and Royal princess Mireille Hua."
All the people on the palace plaza clapped in honor of the new children. The children everyone thought would have no real impact in the royal court or the kingdom. The ones people have ulterior motives for in the future. The little ones who are going to live sheltered in their palace until they come of age.
Little did those greedy adults know, it wouldn't be like that at all.
