I never imagined it would be this big.
When Mr. Huffman first mentioned the project showcase, Guz had rolled his eyes and waved it off, muttering something about "probably just the usual in-house class thing." I had believed him. I had prepared myself for a simple gathering in our classroom or project room, maybe a handful of teachers who would yawn through our nervous parade across the cracked linoleum floor.
