Tomorrow was no longer a promise—it was here.
And I wasn't sitting back, hiding behind closed doors anymore.
It was the fastest I had ever gotten ready for school.
My movements were sharp, almost mechanical. I Showered. Dressed up. Tied my shoes. Grabbed my bag. No second-guessing, no standing in front of the mirror rehearsing smiles. I didn't have the luxury of hesitation anymore. Too much had happened over the weekend—too many cracks forming beneath my feet for me to pretend everything was still solid.
There was Casey's official unveiling as H&M's new young model—her face plastered everywhere, glowing, triumphant and untouchable.
There was me—top spot at Zara's recent show—an achievement that should've cemented my rise, but instead got tangled up in one weak, careless moment that the internet refused to let die. One video. One angle. One narrative spun without my consent.
