The earlier awards were all collective, and only personal commendations came after.
Among the personal commendations, the most prestigious was the Ningjiang County's outstanding police officer of the year title. Although it was just an internal evaluation within Ningjiang, it held considerable prestige, at least for Luo Fei.
Only three people received the outstanding police officer title: Luo Fei, Zhao Donglai, and the Narcotics Brigade captain Wang Qianqian, whom Luo Fei hadn't seen for a while, the man who earned a first-class merit.
But today, only Luo Fei and Zhao Donglai went on stage to receive their awards; Wang Qianqian wasn't present. The explanation from Police Bureau Chief Wucheng was that Wang Qianqian was out on a mission and couldn't be present.
