Another hit to her body as she was crushed directly into the ground and moreover, the force was enough to create cracks in the ground
'....What's with this strength?' the woman asked this question in her mind as this time his punches had become a lot stronger than before
Kaneki used his tentacle-like things to pick up the woman from the ground as she stared dead in her eyes
"*cough*…. what's.. with…*cough*... that …crazy look?" The woman asked this question while she coughed up blood
Not only that she even showed a smirk on her face as she looked him eye to eye, no matter what her situation might be still she would not bow down to her enemy or even show fear on her
"Why did you attack me?" Kaneki asked this question as now he can finally ask this question which he has had in his mind
He already injured her to the point of not fighting back, even though doing that required him to use so much force that he broke his own fists
And he didnt do it of his own will rather it was his unconscious after memories started to resurface in his mind which he wanna forget As his body unconsciously moved
Right now he is at a safe distance as he picked her up from the ground with her tentacle-like things grabbing her head
"Haha…do you need a Reason to kill a monster?" the woman asked this with a smile on her face as she was looking forward to his response to this
"You are crazy" Kaneki replied as he couldn't hold back from saying this any longer since if that's what her answer is then it's nothing but mental illness
"Not more than you, darling" the woman said this time with a wide smile on her face but this time it wasn't a smile like crazy as this time she was giving a confident smile on her face like she had 100% confidence in her mind
"Why did you call me?" Kaneki asked this as he didnt like her calling him darling, not only that he was also confused by the fact that she called him darling when she considered him a monster and he didn't think anyone sane would call a monster her darling
"Because you are not an ordinary monster, you are a special monster just like me and I liked you" woman said with a twisted smile on her face and she had an obsessive look on her face
'She is crazier' Kaneki inwardly said this in his mind after hearing her reply, as she gets crazier than before when she was attacking him
"What's with that weapon?" Kaneki asked this question next as he knows to get a proper answer to his previous question, he dont wanna waste more time speaking about that question
"This? It's nothing but my darkness that wants to swallow everything in its path" the Woman replied to her Second question with the same confident smile on her face
"What do you mean by that?" Kaneki asked this question as he was not able to understand what she meant by saying that
"Enough questions about me, I wanna know about you too," the Woman said this as if she were a dissatisfied child and wanted to ask questions to him too
Even though she is not the one who is in a higher position is not her, she is still acting like they are both in the same position
"What are you?" The woman asked this question which had been on her mind for a long time since now they are finally having a conversation she wanted to ask questions too which have been in her mind for some time
Kaneki looks at her without saying anything at all but soon he realises this is better than fighting for no reason, also if this way he will also know whether she is a threat to them or not
"You already know the answer" Kaneki replied as he knew this woman knew the answer to her own question
*smirk*
"Hahahahahahahaha" The Woman who heard his reply burst into laughter all of a sudden, as she found his response nothing but funny
"You know I am starting to like you more" the woman replied as she stopped laughing while she wiped out her tears which she got from laughing
"My next question, why were you with those weaklings?" she asked this question as she was curious about it as she remembered the first time she saw Kaneki
Hearing this, his killing intent started to leak since he couldn't help but wonder why she wanted to know about them and thought she had some bad intentions towards them
"Dont think in the wrong way, they are just too weak for me to get involved with" the woman said this next as she clearly sensed Kaneki's killing intent and wanted to clear the misunderstanding
Kaneki who heard this finally withdraws his killing intent as he can tell from her facial expressions that she isn't lying, so it's better not to be hostile as who knows she might change her mind if he keeps this hostile
Till now in Kaneki's mind, she is nothing but crazy as her moves are too unpredictable At first she was trying to kill him sneakily and then next time she was fighting him like a crazy battle maniac and now she is playing a quiz with him like a mischievous woman
"They are not your concern" Kaneki replied this as he wanted her to know less as much as even if she got declared as a safe person still he wanna let her know nothing about her
"So protective, they must be important right?" The woman asked this after hearing his response and knows that they must be important to him especially after seeing how defensive he is acting when she asked questions about them
She doesn't know why he kept those weaklings around, but one thing he is certain that he must have cared about them which is surprising since he never expected someone to have people he wanted to protect
