Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 — A Storm Behind Calm Eyes

The mansion felt unusually quiet that night.

Aryan sat in the large study room, a glass wall behind him showing the city lights of Hyderabad. His laptop displayed reports from his companies in Korea. Numbers, contracts, shipping routes, financial growth—everything moved exactly the way he planned.

Aryan never allowed chaos in business.

Rohan stood beside the table.

"Sir, the European deal is complete," he said.

Aryan nodded once.

"Good. Transfer the profits to the Seoul account."

Rohan hesitated before speaking again.

"There is another matter."

Aryan raised his eyes.

"The girl from the event… Nithya."

Aryan leaned back slightly in his chair.

"Speak."

Rohan placed a file on the table.

"She is studying Business Management in Hyderabad International University. Top student. Very intelligent."

Aryan opened the file calmly.

Inside were details about her college, grades, projects, and activities.

Perfect scores.

Strong leadership qualities.

Strategic thinking.

Aryan's eyes sharpened.

Most people only looked at beauty. Aryan looked at capability.

"She is interesting," he said quietly.

Rohan understood what that meant.

When Eagle called someone interesting, that person's life was about to change.

Meanwhile, across the city, Nithya sat in her room reading a business case study.

Her laptop screen showed graphs and company structures.

She loved understanding how power worked in business.

Money controlled the world.

Strategy controlled money.

And the smartest person controlled strategy.

Her phone buzzed.

It was Viraaj, one of her trusted men.

"Ma'am," he said carefully. "Our network confirmed something."

"What is it?"

"That businessman from the event… Aryan."

Nithya listened silently.

"He is not just a businessman," Viraaj continued. "His security is too strong. His influence too wide."

Nithya closed her laptop slowly.

"Meaning?"

"We suspect he is connected to the underworld."

A small smile appeared on her face.

"Interesting," she said.

Because the Devil always enjoyed discovering secrets.

The next evening, Aryan's parents invited Nithya's family for dinner at the mansion.

The dining hall was grand—crystal lights, long table, elegant decorations.

Nithya walked in wearing a simple light blue dress.

She looked calm and confident.

Aryan noticed how she observed everything quietly—the room, the guards, the doors, the exits.

She had the instincts of someone used to danger.

Aryan liked that.

Dinner conversations began normally.

Families spoke about studies, future plans, and travel.

Finally Aryan's father cleared his throat.

"We wanted to discuss something important."

Everyone looked at him.

He smiled kindly.

"Aryan wishes to marry Nithya."

The room went silent.

Nithya's aunt looked shocked.

Her uncle blinked in surprise.

Nithya simply looked at Aryan.

Her voice was calm.

"You decided that very quickly."

Aryan answered without emotion.

"When I see something valuable, I don't delay."

The elders laughed nervously, thinking it was a joke.

But Nithya understood.

He meant every word.

After dinner, Nithya stepped outside into the garden.

The night air was cool.

Aryan walked out a few minutes later.

They stood under the soft garden lights.

"You didn't react much inside," Aryan said.

"I prefer thinking before reacting," she replied.

Aryan nodded slightly.

"Good habit."

Nithya crossed her arms.

"You want to marry someone you barely know."

"I know enough," he said.

"And what exactly do you know?"

"That you are intelligent."

"That you are not afraid of me."

"And that you will be useful beside me."

Nithya raised an eyebrow.

"Useful?"

Aryan's voice remained calm.

"I run global businesses. I need someone who understands strategy."

Nithya studied him carefully.

"You sound less like a man proposing marriage… and more like a CEO hiring a partner."

For the first time, Aryan almost smiled.

"Both require trust."

Silence filled the garden.

Finally Nithya spoke.

"I need time to think."

Aryan nodded.

"Take it."

Then he added one more sentence.

"But understand something, Nithya."

She looked at him.

"When I decide something… it usually happens."

Nithya didn't look intimidated.

Instead she replied calmly,

"We'll see."

Inside the mansion, Aryan's mother watched them from the window.

She smiled softly.

"These two are very similar," she told her husband.

Rajan chuckled.

"Yes."

But neither of them knew the real truth.

They were not just similar.

They were Eagle and Devil.

Two rulers of the same dark world.

And soon destiny would bind them together.
