Cold Open: Lucy's Apartment
Lucy walked fast around her room. Cole was clicking very fast on her laptop. The room was super quiet, except for the sound of Cole's fingers hitting the keys. Lucy felt a fast, shaky feeling inside her, like when you're super excited or scared.
"Are you sure the secret code came from inside our office?" she asked.
Cole didn't look up from the computer. His eyes were glued to the screen. "Yes, I checked the computer addresses. Whoever let out your secret computer code was in your office. Maybe they used Jenna's secret login name and password."
Lucy stopped walking. She felt like a statue. "No. Jenna would never do that." She trusted Jenna very much.
"I know," Cole said softly. He looked up for a second, his eyes kind. "But someone did it. And they wanted this to hurt you."
