Chapter 203 - NT 203: I Am Uchiha Madara

Deep within an underground cavern in the Land of Earth.

Several familiar figures gathered: Uchiha Obito, Uchiha Madara, and Zetsu, alongside the anguished Gedo Statue.

"Obito, I've taught you various ninjutsu, including Yin-Yang Release. Your next step is to ally with Nagato. He's part of the Akatsuki in the Amegakure. Join forces with him to collect the nine Tailed Beasts. Once I'm revived, we can bring true peace to the ninja world, and you'll see the one you long for." The elderly Uchiha Madara said to Obito.

"Understood, Senior Madara. Thank you for your guidance." Obito replied.

After awakening the Rinnegan, Obito quickly grasped the Yin-Yang Release and Six Paths techniques Madara taught him, exactly as Madara had hoped.

Without this, a mere Two-Tomoe Sharingan user could never fulfill Madara's Infinite Tsukuyomi plan.

"One more thing: Tengen. You know him. His power is terrifying. Avoid contact with him at all costs." Madara warned, recalling the ninja.

Since their last battle, Madara knew Tengen, with his Rinnegan, was far more formidable than Obito.

Though Obito's Mangekyō abilities bolstered his survival, facing Tengen remained highly dangerous.

"I understand." Obito nodded. "I've heard of his feats on the battlefield. He wields not only the Mangekyō but also Wood Release."

"No, Tengen doesn't just have the Mangekyō. He possesses the Rinnegan." Madara corrected.

"The Rinnegan?" Obito said, slightly shocked.

"I've told you everything you need to know. The rest is up to you." Madara said to Obito.

"Don't worry, Senior Madara." Obito replied calmly.

"Good, very good. Now, I'll assist you one last time." Madara said, placing his hand on the right half of White Zetsu's body, infusing it with his will.

Moments later, a dark figure emerged within White Zetsu.

"This is Black Zetsu. He'll be your assistant." Madara said.

"I'm Black Zetsu. Nice to meet you all." Black Zetsu said with a chuckle.

"Then it's all in your hands, Obito." Madara said, severing the tubes connecting him to the Gedo Statue. Instantly, he felt his life force drain, his body rapidly failing.

Madara leaned against the cavern wall and sat. "Obito, from today, you are Uchiha Madara."

With that, Madara closed his eyes, his life extinguished.

"He created me and died right after? That was quick." Black Zetsu remarked. "Obito, mind if I bury Master Madara somewhere?"

"Do as you wish." Obito said indifferently.

"Then I won't hold back." Zetsu said, picking up Madara's body and vanishing.

Obito paid it no mind.

He knew Madara was gone. Everything now rested on him.

"Rin." Obito murmured, staring at his hands. Memories of Nohara Rin's smiles filled his mind, his gaze deepening.

The cavern fell silent.

Until…

"From today, I am Uchiha Madara." Obito declared, donning an orange mask with black stripes and a single eyehole.

Through the mask's eyehole, a blood-red Sharingan spun with tomoe.

"First, Nagato." Obito mused, his gaze contemplative.

In the Land of Hot Water, war raged.

Countless ninja clashed, their headbands marking them as Konoha and Cloud shinobi.

The ninja world knew Konoha was at war with the other great villages, so such battles were no surprise.

But this battlefield felt peculiar, the fighting unusually intense.

Across numerous skirmishes, Konoha and the Kumogakure engaged in brutal combat.

Rough estimates suggested thousands of ninja were locked in battle.

The Kumogakure held the advantage.

Since their first invasion of the Land of Fire, this was the Kumogakure's second major offensive, catching Konoha off guard.

Previous clashes with the Cloud were typically small-scale.

Now, waves of Kumo-nin pressed forward relentlessly.

If Tengen, with his beyond-Kage-level strength, were here, the Third Raikage might hesitate. But having heard Tengen was at the Kirigakure and hadn't returned, the Raikage saw his chance.

He planned to overwhelm Konoha with sheer numbers, breaching the Land of Fire. By attacking in small, scattered groups, even Tengen couldn't stop them all.

That was the Third Raikage's strategy.

Though costly for the Kumo-nin, the Raikage deemed it worthwhile.

At Konoha's encampment.

"Orochimaru-sama, we need to retreat. A massive force of Kumo-nin is advancing." Uchiha Fugaku said urgently.

"Indeed. Their numbers are overwhelming, even greater than their first invasion. We can only fight while retreating. A direct confrontation offers no chance of victory." Hyuga Hiashi added.

"Very well. Prepare the Konoha ninja here to withdraw." Orochimaru said, taking a deep breath, his eyes cold.

Though Orochimaru's focus had shifted to his research, he had invested heavily in this war.

He knew battlefield achievements were crucial for becoming Hokage.

But now, this front faced a crisis.

Even most ninja couldn't counter such an overwhelming assault.

Orochimaru knew one person could: his disciple, Tengen, the ninja world's greatest genius.

The thought fueled his frustration.

But lacking Tengen's terrifying power, Orochimaru had no choice but to retreat if he wanted to survive.

"Orochimaru-sama, your reinforcement has arrived…" A loud, jovial voice echoed.

Hi guys, Elenea here! I just want to announce that starting now I'll be trying to focus on my own original fanfic, which I've been thinking about for the past few days (lol I really mulled this over briefly for a few days and decided I'm going to make it a full novel).

If you want to read it, feel free to stop by and leave a five-star and that power stone.

[Worse Than the Devil (DxD)]

Synopsis:

Devil.

An evil and chaotic creatures born from hell who often blamed by humans for the mistakes they themselves commit.

"The devil made me do it."

A phrase always uttered by humans after committing crimes, casting blame and responsibility for their wrongdoings onto the devil.

But not all humans are like that, for there is one man who would gleefully commit atrocities that would be condemned by all of human history and accept the blame and responsibility for those wrongs with open arms.

His name is Michael, but in stark contrast to the meaning of his name 'Who is like God' he is not a devout man who draws near to God's embrace. Instead… he is the one who sends lost sheep to meet God's embrace much faster.

Don't forget to stop by, otherwise I'll actually slap you online lol.

Btw, a quick note before you decide to read, if you have a heart as pure as glass, I suggest you don't read this because it REALLY gets dark to early. The first chapter will give you a little idea of what I might explore later on in this fanservice harem-themed world like DxD.

Adios!
