Peak Daytime – Burren Wasteland of Red Sand – Temperature: 78°C
Gathering materials for my base was easy work. I could have used my powers, of course, but relying on absolute strength for everything would make life dull. So, I decided to restrict myself—only allowing teleportation-type powers for daily use. All other powers would remain sealed until battle demanded their release.
Because of this self-imposed rule, building my base took longer than it should have. But I enjoyed the process.
The first thing I did was create a blueprint. You can't start construction without one, after all.
I didn't have pen and paper, so I designed it in my head—visualizing every detail and committing the entire blueprint to memory.
The blueprint? A massive interstellar port—an ultra-city designed to accommodate colossal aircraft, voidships, and starships. The structure itself could dock hundreds of trillions of vessels without difficulty all thanks to a special characteristic that I planned to install.
Using my boundless sense and teleportation magic—capable of bridging ??? Level distance without restriction—I gathered quintillions of tons of raw materials from across the planet putting it all into my Storage space.
After collecting everything, I searched for a suitable location and was about to begin construction—when something interrupted me.
A portal opened behind me.
An overwhelming pressure immediately bore down on my entire being, as though I were carrying the weight of the entire planet. The pressure didn't affect the world, only me. It was laser-focused.
Fortunately, I was strong. If I hadn't been, I would have perished instantly. This pressure, before the Great Change, could have erased all of existence—but now, it couldn't even destroy a planet.
I turned around to face the source.
There stood a woman—beautiful, otherworldly. Her long crimson hair reached her knees, tied back in a flowing ponytail. Her snow-white skin glowed under the blazing sun, and her elegant white dress shrouded her voluptuous form. Her azure eyes shimmered with such raw power that even a glance could annihilate all things.
Calmly, I asked, "Are you the planet?"
She ignored the question and responded flatly, "You are within Chaos Sovereignty territory. Building infrastructure here without permission is forbidden. Please return to the Old World or the Given World."
Chaos Sovereignty.
A nation born from the Great Phenomenon—the Great Change itself. No one truly knows whether they came from the Great Change or were created alongside it, but those who believe the latter are probably right.
Their territory spans everything, except the Given World, Old World, and the Little Cosmic Clouds. They are the rulers of everything. What the all existence once considered supreme is average in their eyes. What was once the pinnacle of all power? Merely a child's toy in their hands.
They are known as the Aeternus Zenithae—"Eternal Apex Entities."
nothing can challenge them.
I met her gaze and asked, "What if I don't comply?"
"Then you'll be erased."
"You say that," I replied with a grin, "but I don't feel like you're going to do it."
She stared into my eyes, expressionless.
"Well, I'm not about to gamble my life just to find out," I said casually.
With a smirk, I activated my teleportation magic and vanished, heading toward the Old World.
Fifteen trillion-level Unknowns away…
My eyes settled on a distant black wall—towering 10,000 meters high, dwarfing even the tallest mountains in the distance. The gates appeared closed, though I was still about 20 miles out. Just ahead of me, however, was a strange, shimmering force.
I reached out and touched the mysterious barrier encasing the Old World.
It pulsed in response.
"Analyze."
A ripple of invisible energy expanded from my hand, scanning the barrier. Countless streams of data flooded into my mind in an instant and processed them effortlessly.
Magic has no limits—but mana, the energy that fuels it, does. The quality, quantity, and the wielder's mastery dictate the strength of a spell. Even the weakest magic can reach ??? level, if empowered by superior mana.
This barrier was unlike anything I'd ever seen.
A Multi-Layer Dimensional Barrier.
Forged from Draconic Magic, the original source of all energy in existence. Every form of power—be it divine, natural, or chaotic—traces its origin to this force.
The barrier was composed of endless layers. Each layer was its own high-tier dimension, and each dimension was of ??? level scale—greater than the last. Compared to the planet beneath me, the barrier was not just infinitely bigger… it rivaled all of existence itself. And I could tell—this wasn't even its full form. Some parts were still hidden and untouched.
To enter the Old World, I had to pass through it.
There were three known ways:
1. Find a Gateway: Each layer contains a gate guarded by a Monster Boss—entities of absolute power. Even ???-level beings are mere specks before them, this gatesways helps you reach the old world through teleportation.
2. Teleportation: If your magic is advanced enough to slip past the barrier's surveillance and cross its endless dimensions, you can bypass the challenge entirely.
3. Request Entry from the Barrier's Administrator.
The first option? Too time-consuming and suicidal.
The third? Too troublesome.
I went with the second.
With a breath and a thought, I activated my teleportation magic once again—preparing to leap across the unfathomable space held within the layers of the Multi-Layer Dimensional Barrier.
