The prisoners stared in shock at the gaping hole.
Just moments ago, that pale violet crystal dragon had carried several people straight into the layer below, dashing all their hopes of escape.
"Wait… I think I get it now…" one prisoner gasped, eyes wide. "They're here to break someone out of Impel Down, aren't they?"
At once, Crimson Lotus Hell fell silent.
Every prisoner swallowed hard, staring blankly at the hole leading down to Beast Hell.
"This is… ridiculous…"
"So this is Beast Hell?" Naruto's eyes gleamed with interest as he surveyed the creatures below.
He had to admit—Beast Hell was something else. It teemed with ferocious monsters, many of which had never appeared in the original tale.
There was a colossal octopus-spider hybrid, bull-tigers with jagged fangs, and even massive mosquitoes with huge, gaping mouthparts.
"Naruto-sama! There's a lion over there… but it looks strange—it's got a human face… and it can talk!" Nami pointed toward the massive beast in the distance.
The human-faced lion was shouting some kind of noodle name as it barreled forward, leaving chaos in its wake.
"Doesn't matter. Our goal is the next level!"
Once again, a Chō Ōdama Rasengan (Super Giant Spiraling Sphere) formed in Naruto's hand and slammed down into the ground. The deafening roar of destruction tore another massive hole open.
Before they even descended, a wave of blistering heat surged upward.
The next layer—Hungry Hell!
With Naruto smashing through floors in quick succession, the entire prison shook.
News spread quickly—via messengers, via Den Den Mushi—of a madman tearing through the levels one after another.
"What?"
Vice Warden Hannyabal, who had been preparing to take Boa Hancock for a body inspection, froze at the news. Then his eyes nearly bulged out of his head.
"The Demon's Child, Uzumaki Naruto—he's invaded Impel Down!!!"
"This is bad, this is bad, this is really bad…"
"We need to notify the Warden immediately! If Naruto frees someone, we're in deep trouble. Then again… maybe I could use this to become Warden…"
Sweating bullets, Hannyabal turned to Hancock with an apologetic look. "Empress-sama, my apologies. Uzumaki Naruto has invaded—we can't host you right now…"
Once she was escorted away, Hannyabal sprinted for the elevator.
He arrived at Level 4, Blazing Hell, and rushed straight into the Warden's office—flinging open the bathroom door and shouting:
"Warden! Bad news—!"
"Idiot!!! I'm on the toilet!!!"
From his seat on the porcelain throne, Magellan roared in fury and sent the loud intruder flying with a single punch.
Hannyabal slammed into the wall, groaning. "Oh no… I've been poisoned… somebody give me the antidote…"
As a Doku Doku no Mi (Venom-Venom Fruit) user, Magellan's meals were poisonous by nature—giving him chronic stomach trouble. His… toilet sessions were toxic enough to be considered a weapon.
The jailers swiftly jabbed Hannyabal with an antidote, purging the venom from his system.
"What is it? Why the hell are you making such a scene!?" Magellan emerged from the bathroom, pulling up his pants, his expression thunderous.
The sudden intrusion had almost made him fall in.
"Warden, it's terrible!" Hannyabal blurted. "That 10-billion-Berry criminal, the Demon's Child Uzumaki Naruto—he's somehow infiltrated Impel Down and already smashed through two floors…!"
Magellan's pupils shrank. "Uzumaki Naruto… he's actually here."
Even though this was a prison, the Warden knew very well who Naruto was—a monster through and through.
"What's that monster doing here?"
"Warden…" Hannyabal looked at him expectantly. "You can handle this, right?"
"Of course—I'm Magellan." His voice was firm, his gaze steely. "Notify Marine Headquarters immediately. Tell them to send an Admiral to assist."
"And gather everyone—we'll hold our position here."
"I don't care who it is—no one's taking a prisoner from my hands."
Purple venom began to ooze across Magellan's arms.
Seeing this, Hannyabal breathed a sigh of relief. The assembled jailers also relaxed, wiping the sweat from their foreheads.
When they'd first heard the invader was Uzumaki Naruto, they'd been terrified. After all, this was the man who had infiltrated the Holy Land, fought the Three Admirals, and walked away alive.
But looking at Magellan now, their confidence returned.
Yes—the current Warden was Magellan, the terrifying master of the Venom-Venom Fruit.
In such tight quarters, even a monster would find it hard to unleash his full power—and that just happened to be the perfect range for his poison to spread.
But just as Magellan was thinking, the sound of crack-crack came from above.
Sand—vast quantities of yellow sand—poured down from the ceiling, as though the entire Hungry Hell above had been dumped into Blazing Hell.
From the sand burst a purple crystal dragon, its head bearing a blond young man who stared down coldly.
"Uzumaki Naruto…"
Magellan's expression hardened, and without hesitation, he hurled a punch upward.
Venom surged across his arm, condensing into a massive sphere of purple poison, which he launched straight at the blond youth.
"Poison, huh?" Naruto remarked with interest as he looked at the oncoming attack.
Clenching his fist, he met it with a blazing Hiken (Fire Fist), the two forces colliding in a thunderous explosion.
