This sword's power was considerable, forcing Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao to stop and defend.
"Huo Yuhao, are you really going to fight us to the death?"
Ye Xishui said, her voice sharp and filled with fear. She didn't bother to put on airs anymore.
Ye Xishui's clothes were tattered, and she bore several injuries. Long Xiaoyao was in an even worse state; his left sleeve and arm were gone. His previously distinguished demeanor had vanished, and he now looked like a disheveled vagrant.
Despite Long Xiaoyao and Ye Xishui's impressive power, even Limit Douluo were still human. They could still feel fear and a desire to survive when facing someone stronger, like Huo Yuhao.
Long Xiaoyao wouldn't have been in this situation if he hadn't been such a devoted simp for his goddess. He didn't hesitate to protect Ye Xishui, even if it meant becoming crippled.
