Chapter 19 - "You will regret this! Leo!" Chapter 19

I dragged myself back to the apartment, and Abby was not around; she was at school, and now I have free time to look at my company and Ava... Walking inside my room, I sat down on the metal sofa with a little too much force, and I let out a painful gasp. "Ah, Buttcheeks! I have to get a padding for this metal... crap," and Ava speaks, "Sir, are you fine?"

"I am fine. "Ava, what happened with the company and also the bank? Did we make money?" As I speak, the screen lights up, and now there are a bunch of reports on Ava. She says, "The good news is the game was published, and you are the owner and CEO of Game Freak, and the bad news is we are not making any money..." and for seconds I was happy, but then my smile went away!

I speak in an annoyed tone. "What? Why are we not making any money?" and Ava says, "Well, sir, you said to open an account in your name. Well, that's not possible. You are only 16 years old, sir... you need a parent or guardian acting as a co-owner or in a custodial capacity. To open an account in your name, other than that the game has been published, everything else is going fine, sir."

To say I was stunned that such a problem was stopping me from making money... well, what can I do? Well, 90% of the things I can do are out of the count because this is supposed to be my legitimate money-making company, so no back doors or anything like buying accounts or something. I can't have a weakness like that in this company anyway, so what to do? Hmm, wait, why am I only thinking? I have a goddamn AI!

"Ava, what can I do about this problem? About bank accounts?" and a few seconds later 4 options come on the screen in my room.

Ava says, "Well, sir, the 1st solution is youth accounts: some banks offer special youth accounts designed for minors that may have different requirements. But even this option has limits.

The 2nd solution is Community Support: With the help from a local community organization or youth center that assists young people in financial matters. They might have programs in place to help minors open bank accounts. But this option also has limits, sir, and a lot of work and time will be taken to do this; this is the hardest option.

The 3rd and last solution is, well, legal emancipation: this would enable you to open a bank account independently... This is also the easiest option for your problem, sir."

While smiling, I look at the screen; in just seconds, Ava showed me 4 options. This is why AI was so useful but at the same time useless for someone like me... Ava had given me the easiest to the hardest options, but I had already thought about all of these options in my mind, but Ava also gave me more of an understanding of these topics, but still... For someone like me who has the knowledge of this world and its plot... I can make moves even AIs like Ava can't predict or simulate well. If you think about it, this is a good learning opportunity for Ava...

I speak in a bored tone. "Well, Ava, you have shown me that you're smart but boring. The solutions you gave me are fine, but I won't take any of them..." And Ava was silent for a second as if she was trying to process how much being called 'boring' is an insult... and then Ava speaks, "But, Sir, these are the best options." There can't be another solution. I have calculated all options, and these 3 are the most possible right now..."

And while smiling, I speak, "Well, Ava, if you don't have a solution, why don't you just make one?" And a second later Ava speaks, "What do you mean, make a solution? Sir? I am sorry, but I don't understand how one can simply make a solution. When we don't have resources, connections, and various different things?"

And then I say, "Uh, well, who knows? Let me think; I'll tell you my solution later... anyway, for now, make a CV for our company with the most positive and promising report back it up with an actual date from the database, and yeah, for now, let the game be for free for now." And well, Ava spoke, "Ok, Sir, I will, and please do teach me how you make these solutions?..." And after that, I put Ava on mute, and I sit up and now sit down on my more comfortable bed while thinking...

Solution? Well, I can make a plan to make a solution, but again, why would I use my small brain when I have someone like Gray Matter?' And then without a second wasted, I twist the dial head, and I keep spinning the dial till I find a small humanoid in the hologram, and then I casually push the head back down, and with a green flash, I become way smaller and way smarter...

'Solution for such a simple problem? Ugh, I should update Ava's code later. Anyway, this plan is boring—the one I came up with when I was a human. Leo's human brain plan was to go to one of the people he knew about, someone like a lawyer or a businessman, someone like 'Kingpin,' who has done some bad things, and Leo's plan was pretty much to blackmail and beat Kingpin up till he gets under Leo, and this not only helps Leo's little banking problem, but also Leo would have someone like Kingpin under him. By doing this plan, not only is Leo starting a real business, but also Leo would also start to have this dark business behind the curtains... this was one plan with more than one profit; by throwing one rock, Leo was trying to hit 3 or 4 birds...'

And what does Leo, when transformed into Gray Matter, think about this? 'Trash! This plan is poop! This would just get me in trouble sooner. Kingpin not only fights people like Daredevil and also other street-level heroes, but Kingpin also ends up in a lot of crap! Not only that, there is no reason to go and do something like this anyway; there are many easy ways to solve such a simple problem!

Why had my thoughts been so reckless? Was it because I am in a teenager's body? Or is the power of the Omnitrix getting to my head?' Yeah, I have been confident in the past few days. It did not seem like a big problem, but with time it let me have these reckless thoughts, like, "Is that still the plan?" I came up with is not half bad, but the problem is I have to do all of that in 10 minutes because I am sure once I time out, Kingpin would snap me like a twig...'

'Not only that, If I need to get someone under me, I can't just keep appearing in front of them for only 10 minutes. It's risky but might work, but I just can't do this plan right now. Maybe later, after all, I have 5 months & 2 years before anything truly starts in the MCU. Today's date is 2005, 29th July. It's almost been 15 days since I came to this world. Even though I am moving fast, I can't keep rushing. Plans like this I have time for. I need to keep low and be out of all eyes till at least 1 year and 5 months. By then I am sure I will be so strong I won't have to worry about anyone like Shield... but for now, the account problem?.

Well, I just go to someone who I know likes to help others. Hmm, how about Aunt May? Right now our MCU Spiderman should still be 19 years old right now because when we first saw Spiderman in the MCU, it was in Civil War when Spiderman was 15 years old, so calculating the time and dates, right now Peter Parker should be 19 years old, and his aunt should be around 48 years old, which is crazy because she looks 25... wait! What? Why am I thinking about that?! I am smart, not stupid! This must be the fault of this body!'

And after blaming his body, not his thoughts... Leo makes a fast plan on how he could get close to Aunt May... only for the accounting problem—yeah, for no other reason!! Leo also analyzed and simulated Frank's fighting style when he was Gray Matter, making up a counter for everything Frank did in seconds, and Leo was going to give Frank a little surprise next morning... and after doing all of that, Leo timed out of Gray Matter. Since it was starting to get evening, Leo walked out of the apartment; he was going to pick Abby up from school.

And I see Abby talking with her friend, and I slowly walk to her, and I wave my hand and speak in a corny way: "Hey little sister, come here to big brother!" I was clearly trying to embarrass Abby just for the laughs and giggles... And Abby does not even look at me; she acts like I am some sort of creep!!! And I speak once again a little louder: "HEY Abby! Baby! Come here to your big brother!" And Abby, after saying bye to her friend in almost a scary way, walks away again, acting like I was a nobody....

And well, little did I know this was going to bite me in the ass later...

"You will regret this! Leo!" said Abby in her mind and heart....
