Chapter 28 - how fast time goes by... Chapter 28

'I have the Iron Fist now...'

{Could you become smaller? Take your human form; it will be easier to give you the Iron Fist then...}

With a smile on my face, I tap the watch head on my chest, and then a green light covers me, and then there I was, smaller, with my hands in my pocket and a smug smile on my face as I think, 'Well, not only did I get to test out WayBig and also get the Iron Fist; I also seem to give this dragon a little scare...'

I walked closer to the dragon's chest, which had a big scar on it, and I spoke in an amused tone, "Well, you should have done this first; none of this would have happened then, you know? Now the Iron Fist, stepping closer, I notice the hint inside Shou-Lao's eyes, and I speak in a scary tone, "Don't take me for a fool, Shou-Lao. I am someone who entered K'un-Lun alone, got what I wanted, even came here to fight you, and then won. Trust me, you don't want to play tricks on someone like me..."

After a second of silently looking at me, Shou-lao spoke, "It does not matter who you are or what you have done; all that matters is you're a human who beat me. You won the trial; the Iron Fist is yours." And hearing Shou-lao's words, I smile and walk closer, and then, without a second of warning, I punch my right fist at Shou-lao's chest, where the big scar was, and my fist goes inside the scar!!

And not even a second later, I feel something entering my body through my hand. It was weird, warm, and strong! And then I move my left hand fast and punch Shou-lao right on his scar. Now both of my fists are inside Shou-lao's heart, and normally Shou-lao only lets a person punch with one fist, but knowing this weird human monster in front of him, Shou-lao lets him punch his heart. It's not like it hurts Shou-lao in any way...

Not even a second later... BOOM!!!.....

It hit me hard; whatever it was inside my body, it hurt... No, it burns! And a few seconds later, I opened my eyes. I was next to the river, and my clothes were a little bit dusty, but other than that, I was fine. But the most insane thing was when I looked down at both of my fists; they were glowing golden with power. I had never felt it before in my own human body...

'This was crazy and not as much of a cakewalk as I thought it would be, but still, this was easy. Getting the Iron Fist was easy... but still, how the fuck did Danny Rand win against a Shou-Lao like that??!! There is no way any normal human is winning against that dragon, not even someone with Chi is winning against that dragon... Shou-lao was stronger than I thought he would be, but thankfully, even though I underestimated him, I still prepared a lot...

If I come here without removing the 10-minute limiter, I might not be dead, but I'll for sure be running away because I am pretty sure I'll run out of time before I get to Shou-Lao if I still had the 10-minute timer, or I might have even just timed out between my fight with Shou-Lao, which might even mean death...'

I stand up from the ground and dust my clothes off, and I look around; there is no sight of Shou-Lao... but then I look down at my wrist, and then I grab the dial of the Omnitrix and twist it a few times, and well, bad luck, no dragon transformation was unlocked... I was hoping to somehow get dragon DNA and turn into a dragon... but, well, it does not matter. I'll find some dragon again once I learn how to activate the scanning function of the Omnitrix...

I twist the dial of the Omnitrix and then push it down, and with a green light covering my whole body, now I am XLR8, and then I start to run fast, trying to find where I left my bag... and I found my bag under a broken tree. After grabbing it and making sure everything was fine, I ran fast to the tip-top of the snowy hill, and while on the hill, with a smile, I quickly did something... and after that, I ran to the stone gate and pulled my 'portal gun' out and pointed it at the stone gate, and by pulling the trigger, a light shot out of the portal gun...

Looking back at the snowy hill, which was now not as calm as it was before, not only that the whole village and the woods were pretty much in pure chaos. Every monk alive was running around panicking because, well, I am pretty sure they felt Shou-lao fighting me... With their Chi, it's impossible they didn't notice what I did... Well, whatever, it's not like anyone diedy. The most harm I truly did was to, well, Shou-Lao and maybe the pride of K'un-Lun, but other than that... Oh yeah, I also did that. Well, it's just to keep this 'James Lee act' up anyway. No hard feelings...

And I walk through the portal chuckling to myself... What Leo did as XLR8 was, well, he ran on the snowy hill, the tallest part of K'un-Lun, where the temple was before, and Leo wrote with burned ashes of the temple on the snow... (Today was the day James Lee came and conquered K'un-Lun...)

Well, why did I do that? Simply because I know in the next 4 or 5 years the gate of K'un-Lun will normally open, and well, then I am sure Danny Rand or someone else from K'un-Lun will try to find me, but well, who will they look for? 'James Lee,' and well, how can someone find someone who does not even exist? Plus, 'James Lee will be the name I will be doing all my dirty work under. I just use James Lee whenever I am doing something not so good... and well, James Lee will get all the blame, and Leo Jackson? Well, I'll just be an honest, hard-working game company owner, nothing else...'

Walking outside the stone gate, the 'portal gun' in my hands burns up, and then it cracks open... Well, maybe it overheated? Who knows? I built this in a hurry, and also, who cares? I can make a new one if I need to now that I know how to make one with the help of Gray Matter... I throw the broken portal gun that was off in my back, and then I fast-start to run...

An hour later... Leo was now no longer XLR8, and he was casually sitting on a couch in an apartment he booked in Hong Kong.

Hmm, Chi, it's not as complex as I thought it would be. I thought I would need Gray Matters' help to even understand what these texts mean, but no, I can learn this on my own, huh? Well, I'll test with Gray Matter about Chi later, but for now...

I closed my fist, and a second later my fist started to glow golden... "Ha, this is never going to get old, huh? Well, the next thing would be to test Chi, and after that, test Chi with my aliens... but for now, no testing Chi... let's just learn for now. I'll test later when I get back to my house."

And once again I was being careful even though I knew pretty much nobody in this world knows about Chi other than the Hand still... I did not want to test something like Chi so casually... and after reading a bunch on my phone, I lay back and closed my eyes... trying to feel this Chi inside my body...

Huh? This stuff is total bull crap. After reading this a few times, yeah, this is pure bullshit. Well, first of all, making myself stronger with chi and stuff, yeah, just by closing my hand, and then when my hand starts to glow, yeah, I am pretty sure Iron Fist just does that passively, and so the chi augmentation was useless to me... Now, the other chi stuff...

Chi Portal? No, I can't do it. For some reason, this is too hard. Well, maybe after training more, I can...

Chi Flight? No way, I mean, I do feel a little lighter, but again, I have no control...

Chi healing? Yes, it's really good. I even made a little cut on my finger, and it healed fast right in front of my eyes...!

Chi infusion? Yes, it does work, but, well, the main reason I wanted this was to test if I could put Chi into the Omnitrix, and, well, nothing happened... Too bad, but at least this works...

Chi blade? Well, no... but maybe with training I can use this...

Chi elemental manipulation? This is the biggest. Notvery time. I just felt like I was trying to role-play as a mage when trying to learn this...

Chi Detection? Yes, Big. Yes! I could pretty much feel everyone inside the building right now, all the humans, where they were, what they were doing... It was creepy for sure. Thankfully, I was not a bad man...

And then the 3 most important and maybe even the most powerful ones Chi absorption, chi siphon lifeforce, and chi mind meld... all 3 of these were scary; one could do a lot of crazy things with them. Chi Absorption taking someone else Chi might make me stronger, but at the same time someone else might get weak and old... and Lifeforce Shipon? That was even scarier. Think about it: someone tapping your shoulder, and then you age like 20 years on the spot! ...

And the not-so-scary last one, Chi mind meld... It seems tame, but think about it: I could go into someone else's mind and take all information and memories... I pretty much could learn anything I want in seconds... Not only that, with Gray Matter, this Chi mind meld is the most broken Chi technique...

Ah, this little trip to K'un-Lun got me more than I thought I'd get, huh? I should do this more, but not now. For now, I master what I have learned, and in a few weeks, hopefully, I will be raiding the Ten Rings...

Ah, how fast time goes by...
