Chapter 120 - Ch.120: Peace at Last

Chapter 120 — "Peace at Last"

> "The Age of the Flesh is over. Now, we enter an age of the spirit as the world is renewed."

---

Scene 1 — The Balance

Levi wakes up.

The sky is soft, a twilight.

A river gleams beside him.

This is Bin Levin. The place of those who weren't good, but weren't evil either.

His breath is still. The air shimmers with light that isn't sunlight.

Forests hum gently with no wind. The trees glow faintly in tune with his heartbeat.

He sits up. Mountains rise in the distance. He hears laughter that sounds like memories, and crying that sounds like forgiveness.

He whispers:

Levi: "Is this... the end?"

Another soul answers. It's Azula.

Azula: "No, you're in Bin Levin. A place where morally ambiguous people go. You're not happy but you aren't suffering either.

All you do is accept yourself, reflect on your life and get the chance to receive inner peace. Bye!"

He giggles a little then....

A vision of himself as a child flickers near the stream.

Then of Seed....

He sees other souls but he isn't bothered by them.

He is alone.

But not lonely.

---

Scene 2 — Five Against One

The battlefield is all light and motion.

Jakku, Gift, Reen, Maiku, and Matthew rise in tandem.

Their forms glowing, bruised, defiant.

The Root Body grins like a cracked wall.

It adapts.

The fight begins again. Wind tears the ground.

Jakku leaps into action.

His blade dances, Fingers, gone!

Gift switches places with a leaf and slices the Root Body's eyes.

However all of that damage back like it never went.

Maiku bends Flames.

Matthew's streams cut.

The Root Body sprouts Root Bones out the ground nearly killing Reen but Gift narrowly saves her.

Lightning strikes as if the world is waiting for a winner.

The crew hold their line—barely.

---

Scene 3 — The Grasp

The Root Body lashes out.

It grabs Seed by the waist.

She screams.

Jakku: "NO!"

FLASH! — his blade sings. His body cracks from speed.

The Root's hand drops to the ground, still pulsing.

---

Scene 4 — Equal Still Isn't Enough

They push.

Jakku flashes like lightning.

Matthew bends water and magma.

Maiku ignites the horizon.

Reen calculates.

Gift teleports around the battlefield as if moving instantaneously.

The Root Body adapts faster. It no longer fights like a monster. It fights like learner.

---

Scene 5 — The Core's Threat

The Root Body's chest pulses.

Its biomass quivers.

Reen sees it: self-detonation mechanism.

Jakku is inches from the nape. Death is close.

Reen: "MAIKU, NOW!"

Maiku barrels forward. Fists wrapped in flame. A punch like thunder.

Root Body's jaw shatters.

The core calms.

---

Scene 6 — Her Fault

Seed crawls.

Tears drop from her face like leaves.

She whispers:

Seed: "I made all of this..."

---

Scene 7 — The Knife

She sees a glint in the ash.

A spare knife. Dull. But sharp enough.

She picks it up with shaking hands.

---

Scene 8 — The Ultimatum

Seed walks toward the battle.

Her voice cracks:

Seed: "LOOK AT ME!"

The Root Body twists.

She lifts the knife.

A single stroke across her throat.

Blood arcs like history.

The moment lingers. The atmosphere changes.

Done. She's gone. Dead.

---

Scene 9 — The Opening

Reen's eyes widen.

Reen: "NOW!"

She hurls every arrow, knife, and pin she has.

The Root Body flinches. Arms up.

Jakku and Gift vanish into light—the longest Flash in their history.

Legs, Eyes, Hands and Torso ripped to shreds.

Matthew conjures a sphere of all elements.

Acid. Goldfire. Lava. Water.

He launches it.

Maiku lifts his hands and summons a fireball vast and searing.

They all move back.

BOOM!

---

Scene 10 — Collapse

The Root Body falls.

Heartbeat low. Limbs scattered.

Not dead.

Not alive.

---

Scene 11 — One Final Beat

They gather near it in tears, they want to mourn for Seed but can't right now.

Reen: "Is it..."

BOOM!

Wood ash.

Dust.

Fire.

Light.

They are burned.

But they breathe.

---

Scene 12 — Farewell

They lie next to each other.

It's silent for a moment.

They are Charred. Shaking.

But Jakku breaks the silence.

Jakku: "I loved all of you."

Gift: "Even when I hated you."

Maiku: "This... wasn't for nothing."

Matthew: "I saw the world again..."

Reen: "We were always more than what they made us. See you guys on the other side."

---

Scene 13 — Reunion

Seed opens her eyes.....

Bin Levin.

Rivers glow softly.

Levi stands beneath a willow tree.

She runs.

She stumbles.

She crashes into him.

They embrace.

They kiss. It's warm. Calming. Truly comforting. They feel it. And they don't want it to stop.

They weep into one another's arms.

Seed(crying): "I love you."

Levi: "Love you too."

---

Scene 14 — The Field of Peace

The Crew opens their eyes.

They are in Shlum Veharmonia.

Flowers. Untouched by Root control.

Endless light. Soft wind.

Laughter. Happiness. Peace. Freedom.

Then....

Dion, Florin, Atlas.

They all run to them.

They hold one another.

Reen sobs first. Then Jakku. Then all of them.

Reen(crying): "I missed you guys so much."

They can't stop crying. Cause finally, finally they found true peace and comfort.

---

Scene 15 — Humanity Again

Across the lands... the seas

Every Rootling collapses.

They gasp. Their bodies shift.

They become human again.

Children. Mothers. Fathers. Elders. They remember who they are.

64,604 people rise again.

They touch their faces. Their skin. They cry.

---

Scene 16 — Free

The Bloom is gone.

The Root has fallen.

No whispers.

No override.

Just silence. And songs.

> Narrator: "The Age of the Renewed Spirit has begun."

---

Scene 17 — Julio Weeps

Cities fall quiet.

Then laughter.

Then weeping.

All the world grieves.

All the world breathes.

All the world remembers.

---

Scene 18 — The Weight Drops

In every soul, a release.

In every tree, a new bud.

In every river, a clearer current.

The curse is broken. Freedom from control.

From influence.

---

Scene 19 — The Ones Who Endured

They are not called soldiers.

They are not called rebels.

They are just people.

People who chose to fight.

And chose to forgive.

---

Scene 20 — The Final Memory

Bin Levin fades.

Seed and Levi walk hand-in-hand.

Levi: "Do you think they made it?"

Seed: "I think they freed it."

He smiles.

She smiles.

They vanish into the willow light.

---

Scene 21 — The Last Name

A flower grows where Seed last fell.

It bears a symbol no one understands.

But everyone knows what it means.

Scene 21 — Celebration

All of Shlum Veharmonia gathers.

They prepare a feast for the heroes who freed the world of control and oppression.

The Crew cry tears of joy cause now they are finally...

HAPPY.

---

Scene 22 — Peace at Last

The war is over.

The Override is gone.

No performance.

No forgetting.

Just a single phrase on the winds:

Live.

THE END

Narrator (Closing Monologue):

> "To reach the end is not to stop walking. It is to finally feel the ground beneath your feet."

Let me tell you something, dear reader.

This was never just a war. It was never just about flesh versus root, freedom versus control. That was only the surface. The true story—the real one, the one you've followed through darkness, fire, doubt, and heartbreak—was always about the human spirit.

Yes, the fight was brutal. Many fell. Some gave everything—Seed most of all. But what was it they were really fighting for? Not power. Not revenge.

They were fighting to remember.

To remember who they were before the world told them who to be.

Before the Bloom, before the Override, before fear dressed itself as safety.

Levi woke in Bin Levin not because he won or lost, but because he endured. Because, in the end, he was simply a person—a flawed one, yes, but not a failure. You see, Bin Levin doesn't judge. It waits. It listens. It lets the forgotten learn how to forgive themselves. And maybe that's the hardest kind of peace to win.

Seed saw the truth and bled it into the soil. Her final act wasn't of violence, but of release. Of saying, "No more." Not to the enemy. To herself. Because sometimes, saving the world means saving it from you.

And those five warriors—Jakku, Reen, Gift, Maiku, Matthew—they weren't heroes because they were strong. They were heroes because they stayed when others left. They chose love when bitterness made more sense. They stayed human when everything else tried to make them less.

Did you cry, reader? You can admit it. It's okay.

They cried too. Reen, sobbing in a field of untouched flowers. Jakku, for once, speechless not from fury, but from awe. Matthew, touching the dirt with reverence. Maiku, letting fire flicker without destruction. Gift, smiling—a real smile, not the old mask.

All of them, finally alive.

The Root didn't die with a scream. It ended in silence. Because silence is what comes after a storm has passed. And in that silence? A single word: Live.

You've walked far with these people. You've seen them break and burn and rise again. Maybe they reminded you of yourself. Maybe you, too, have felt like a Rootling—lost, disconnected, hungry for something real.

But here's the gift this story offers:

You made it.

So did they.

The curse is broken. Not just for the world, but maybe—for you, too.

Peace isn't loud.

It's not perfect.

But it's real.

And if you're wondering what happens after "The End," I'll tell you:

They laugh.

They remember.

They feast.

They forgive.

They plant things.

They name stars.

They teach children the names of flowers that never bloomed under Root rule.

And most of all—

They live.

Just like you will.

---

> "This is the end of the book.

But not of the story.

The story lives in you now.

Let it bloom."

A Letter to You, from Us

– The Crew

Dear Reader,

If you're holding this—

if your hands are trembling,

if your eyes are tired,

if the world feels like it's closing in—

then this letter is for you.

We're not writing to tell you how to win.

We're writing to remind you how to live.

In a world that taught us to distrust softness, we found that gentleness is not weakness.

Hold a hand. Offer a word. Cry when you must. Rage when it matters. But do not forget—compassion is the sharpest blade.

Here's what we learned, each of us:

From Jakku:

Don't bury your fire. But don't let it burn down what you love. Use your anger as a lantern, not a weapon.

From Reen:

Your memories are seeds. Even the painful ones. Don't erase them. Tend to them. They'll bloom in time.

From Gift:

You are not a tool. You're not here to be useful. You're here to be. That's enough. That's everything.

From Maiku:

Speak. Even if your voice trembles. Especially then. Silence is where fear grows. Speak light into it.

From Matthew:

You don't have to be the strongest. Just stay. Stay when it's hard. Stay with yourself. Stay with others.

And from all of us—

Forgive slowly.

Trust carefully.

Love deeply anyway.

This world is loud with cruelty.

So be soft. Be stubbornly kind.

Let the world call it foolish—

but let no one take it from you.

If you're still here, still breathing, still feeling—

you haven't lost.

You are already more than what they wanted you to be.

Stay human.

With you,

—Jakku, Reen, Gift, Maiku & Matthew 🌱
