Chapter 26 - Immortality

Shamrock stared out over the endless sky. The ship floated high above the clouds, untethered by the laws of gravity or time.

Before him knelt Trafalgar Law, expression calm, reverent, and entirely devoid of resistance.

The Surgeon of Death, now the most skilled doctor in the world, had but one task left.

Immortality.

The legendary Perpetual Youth Surgery was the ultimate secret of the Ope-Ope no Mi. A power so rare and forbidden, the World Government had offered 5 billion berries just for the fruit.

Now, the fruit's master knelt obediently before Shamrock.

Shamrock looked down upon him, three heads of Cerberus flickering behind him like a god's halo. "It is a shame to lose your combat power," he said calmly. "But a god must never die. Do it."

Law's hands glowed with surgical light, the Room expanding. Instruments materialized in the air, precise and cold. He did not hesitate.

"I offer my life," Law said quietly. "So that the reign of the Cerberus may never end."

The surgery began.

A flash of blinding blue light surrounded them.

Pain, indescribable, tore through Shamrock's body as the cells of his being were rewritten, stabilized beyond mortality.

Veins glowed with the power of the Ope-Ope. Muscles and organs were enhanced. His soul, already fused with the Cerberus system, integrated fully with the immortal vessel Law forged.

The sky turned black.

Lightning fell.

Shamrock roared with a terrible, inhuman sound, as time itself bent around him. For a moment, every creature with Haki across the world felt it. A pressure that transcended any conqueror's Haki. The birth of an eternal tyrant.

Then, silence.

Law collapsed. His life faded. One final breath, and he was gone.

Shamrock looked down at the lifeless body of the man who had sealed his fate.

"Your sacrifice will be remembered… for eternity."

He raised a hand, and Law's body was devoured by darkness, his legacy erased from time.

Shamrock turned to the CP-0 members waiting silently behind him. "Begin preparations. The final era has begun."

He no longer needed to hurry. No longer feared wounds. No longer had to scheme like a mortal.

He was eternal.

A true god, unbound by time.
