Chapter 240 - Chapter 240: Ye Yu vs. The Snake King of Mist Island

"Fools of the Dominant Feather Pirate Crew! Since you insist on accompanying Ye Yu to your deaths, don't blame us for being ruthless! After Mist Island's army, it will be the King's Alliance's blade of vengeance! Today marks the complete erasure of your Dominant Feather Pirate Crew!"

...

At that moment, aboard the Tyrant Feather Pirate Ship.

Faced with Mist Island's declaration of death and the King's Alliance's impending lethal threat, the atmosphere was heavy, yet their fighting spirit burned at its peak!

Ye Yu slowly drew the Black Blade Night from his back. Dark red Conqueror's Haki coiled around the blade like crimson lightning, emitting a low, thunderous hum.

His gaze swept across the faces of his crew—some resolute, some furious, others fearless.

"Did you hear that?" Ye Yu's voice wasn't loud, but it carried clearly to every ear, filled with an unyielding resolve to cut through everything.

"Two dogs—one fed and eager to bite, the other hiding behind, waiting to scavenge."

A cold, wild grin curled at the corners of Ye Yu's lips as he pointed the Black Blade Night toward Mist Island, as if piercing through space itself to where Yang Luo's fleet lay hidden.

"Do they think this is a checkmate?"

"Do they think we'll cower? Falter? Despair?"

His voice suddenly roared like thunder, brimming with indomitable dominance and overwhelming battle intent!

"Then let them witness the terror of the Dominant Feather Pirate Crew! Whether it's Mist Island or Yang Luo's battered remnants—today, we cut them all down!"

"OOOOOHHHHH—!!!"

A deafening war cry erupted like a tidal wave. The Tyrant Feather Pirate Ship, rather than retreating, adjusted its course like an arrow loosed from a bow, charging headlong with unstoppable momentum toward the churning, murderous mist—fed by the flesh of their enemies!

The storm had arrived. The flames of war were about to ignite.

With absolute resolve, Ye Yu and the Dominant Feather Pirate Crew declared to the world: Even if the entire world stands as our enemy, we will cut them all down with a single blade!

At the bow, Ye Yu stood against the wind, the Black Blade Night angled forward. The dark red Conqueror's Haki coiled around it like a living beast, growling with a pressure that chilled the soul.

His eyes were cold and sharp, piercing through the dense mist, locking onto the terrifying presence emanating from the depths of the island.

"They're here!" Xiao Ke's voice, amplified across the ship, rang out from the crow's nest with absolute calm. "Massive snake hordes detected at the mist's edge! Numbers... incalculable!"

Almost the moment he spoke, the thick fog ahead churned like boiling ink, violently parting to either side! Countless pairs of crimson, slit-pupiled eyes lit up within the mist—dense and endless, as if the gates of hell had swung open!

Hssssssss...

The spine-chilling chorus of flickering serpent tongues drowned out even the roar of the waves, forming a tide of death.

Leading the charge was a black flood of Single-Headed Snakes—smaller in size but overwhelming in numbers, their scales glinting ominously in the dim light, venom dripping from exposed fangs. Close behind came the far more ferocious Two-Headed Snakes, their twin heads writhing grotesquely as they spewed toxic mist and frost-laden breath.

Deep within the denser mist, several far larger figures exuding overwhelming pressure loomed faintly—newborn three-headed serpents.

"ROOOAR—!!!"

The serpent horde let out deafening hisses, surging toward the Tyrant Feather Pirate Ship like a bursting flood! Their goal was simple—to tear apart and devour! To turn all flesh before them into nourishment for the Snake King!

"Prepare for battle!!" Ye Yu's voice thundered like lightning, instantly igniting the crew's fighting spirit!

"Ice Age!" Xia Ling pressed her hands against the sea's surface as icy blue cold energy erupted explosively!

The waters on both sides of the ship froze at astonishing speed, sprouting countless enormous, jagged ice spikes like a frozen jungle! The single-headed serpents charging at the forefront were instantly frozen solid, but more serpents fearlessly surged forward, using their bodies and venom to corrode the ice.

"Three-Sword Style: One Hundred Eight Torments Wind!"

Sun Long leaped to the ship's bow, his three swords whirling madly as they unleashed countless massive green sword whirlwinds that howled into the serpent horde. Wherever they passed, serpent bodies were severed, flesh and blood sent flying!

"Flame Ring: Fire Pillar!" Zhao Yan'er shouted sharply, her fists blasting out several thick pillars of flame that erupted like volcanoes, slamming violently into the densest serpent clusters with deafening explosions and the stench of scorched flesh!

Executives like Zhao Lin and Wu Xingyun also fought at full strength—slashes crisscrossed, bullets whizzed, instantly weaving a deadly net of firepower before the ship.

The battle reached white-hot intensity the moment it began!

The serpent numbers were simply overwhelming! Like an endless black tide, they madly assaulted the Tyrant Feather Pirate Ship's defenses. The ice layers shattered under wave after wave of serpent bodies, only to be rapidly repaired by Xia Ling. Sun Long's sword whirlwinds were devastating but limited in range. Zhao Yan'er's flames blasted apart swathes of serpents, but the gaps were immediately filled by more surging forward.

Ye Yu could sense that even the single-headed serpents possessed combat strength rivaling top-tier pirate combat crew members.

Yet even so...

BOOM!

Ye Yu's eyes blazed with fury as an even more terrifying wave of Conqueror's Haki erupted outward, shocking the crew—their captain had grown stronger!

The Haki surged forth like a tsunami. In an instant, thudding sounds rang continuously as rows of single-headed serpents collapsed unconscious. Though not dead, the mass faintings drastically reduced enemy numbers, significantly lessening pressure and casualties for the Dominant Feather Pirate Crew.

After all, in major battles, the lowest-ranking members suffered most casualties. With the enemy's cannon fodder suddenly diminished, crew casualties naturally decreased.

But it was impossible for this battle to conclude without losing a single low-ranking member.

Squelch! Aaah—!

Screams inevitably rose among the crew as single-headed serpents breached the fire net—their razor fangs instantly piercing throats or arms of outer combat crew, lethal venom spreading rapidly! Two-headed serpents spewed poison mist or frost over certain areas, slowing crew movements before they were overwhelmed and torn apart by swarming serpents!

Blood instantly dyed the ice around the Tyrant Feather Pirate Ship crimson—both serpent and crew blood alike.

The thick stench of blood mixed with scorched flesh, poison mist, and frost permeated the entire sea, making the air viscous and suffocating.

Xiao Ke commanded calmly, his gun acting like Death's ledger as he precisely picked off every powerful serpent attempting to breach key positions.

"Medic team! Quick, save them! Antidote now!"

The wounded were swiftly brought back aboard the ship, where Ling'er tended to them. There were too many injured, and despite pushing her Heal-Heal Fruit ability to its limits, she was soon drenched in sweat. For the Dominant Feather Pirate Crew, this battle was their toughest yet—everyone was giving their all.

Ye Yu remained standing at the bow, the Black Blade Night still sheathed. His gaze pierced through the chaotic, blood-soaked battlefield, locking onto the figures of the massive Three-Headed Serpents lurking deep within the mist, their auras overwhelming. And beyond them, the mountainous shadow of the Snake King loomed, coiled like a living fortress. He could feel the Snake King's icy stare fixed upon him—mocking, greedy, as if savoring the prelude to a feast.

From the depths of the mist, the Snake King's vast, sinister spiritual presence rippled outward once more, laced with scorn. "Ye Yu, kneel before your king now, offer your head, and perhaps I shall grant you… a swift end to this slaughter!"

"Shut your mouth, worm!" Ye Yu's voice was frigid, laced with Conqueror's Haki as it reverberated clearly in response.

"Snake King, your head is mine! Consider it the grand experience I need to level up!"

Before the words even faded, Ye Yu moved!
