Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 — Forgotten Justice

After entering the grand hall of the Tsunayashiro mansion, Kaito spent a good while socializing with nobles from various houses and standings.

Between sips of tea and boring conversations about pure bloodlines, his gaze drifted discreetly across the hall.

"Yoruichi didn't come..."

"Was she not invited? Or… did she escape? Judging by the pale, sweaty face of Omeda Masakazu, it's safe to assume she ran."

Omeda Masakazu was the patriarch of the Ōmaeda family and the father of Ōmaeda Marechiyo.

He was also the current Vice-Captain of the Second Division and the official protector of Yoruichi Shihōin — not that she ever acknowledged it.

While Kaito was lost in these thoughts, hushed murmurs began to echo throughout the hall.

He noticed several eyes turning toward the entrance of the mansion.

Curious, he followed their gaze.

And when he saw who had just entered, he was genuinely surprised.

---

Crossing the gates of the Tsunayashiro mansion walked a man with long black hair, a cold expression, and the traditional robes of a Shinigami.

But what truly stood out was the white haori draped over his shoulders — emblazoned with the symbol of the 11th Division.

He was the current captain of the 11th Division.

The eighth bearer of the Kenpachi title:

> Sōya Azashiro.

---

Before Kaito could even process it, another surprise hit him — this time, from the System:

> [Character Login: Sōya Azashiro]

Condition: Justice for the Azashiro Family

Status: Complete

Reward: Ability — Spiritual Clone

Kaito's eyes widened.

It was the first time he had seen a login with the condition already fulfilled automatically.

"The Azashiro family had some connection to the Kasumiōji clan...

That's right... from the original Kaito's memories, our clan actually sought justice for them."

---

In the memories he inherited, Kaito recalled:

The Azashiro family had been falsely accused of treason.

During that time, his father, Raien, had been personally invited by the Tsunayashiro to study the clan's ancestral sword.

As a result, he was forced into isolation within the Tsunayashiro mansion for a long period.

Raien, being a master blacksmith, couldn't resist the chance to examine such a rare artifact.

"I remember how excited he was when he came back...

Until he received the news."

Upon learning of the injustice done to the Azashiro family, Raien stormed into the Central 46 alone.

Kaito didn't know the details, but from that day on, every voice demanding Azashiro's execution fell silent.

And the Azashiro family's properties?

Untouched.

"Could it be that this chain of events is what fulfilled the login condition for Sōya Azashiro...?"

Kaito was deep in thought.

He'd have to investigate that story more thoroughly later.

But right now, one thing was more important:

> Login complete. Ability acquired.

---

As the memories of the new ability rushed into him, Kaito felt a subtle tingling in his chest.

The explanation was simple — and absurd.

> Spiritual Clone: Allows the creation of a clone made of reiatsu, with independent thought and awareness.

The clone can train, observe, and learn on its own, and upon dispelling, transfers all its memories to the original body.

"It's literally a Shadow Clone.

A shameless copy.

And yet... absolutely broken."

Kaito grinned, thrilled.

This ability was a total game-changer.

Contrary to what fools might think, it wasn't meant for direct combat.

But for training, infiltration, espionage, and research... it was simply perfect.

— Hehehe... — Kaito chuckled softly, casting a discreet glance at Azashiro, who walked silently through the hall, completely unaware of what had just happened.

"Thank you, Kenpachi."
