Chapter 7 - When'll I Got My Special Reward?

Alex stared at the ridiculously large number on his phone screen. "Oh yes! I got so much money in my account, hahaha!" He was still finding it hard to believe how quickly his earnings had multiplied.

Suddenly, his phone rang, displaying a familiar name: Qing Ruo. "Who is calling me now? Oh, it's Qing Ruo!" He answered, a smile in his voice. "Hello! What happened, Qing?"

"Nothing," came Qing Ruo's voice, sounding a little annoyed. "It's just that my car is in service. Can you drop me home?"

Alex's eyebrows shot up. Qing Ruo? Asking him for a ride? This was too good. "Okay," he said, trying to sound serious but failing slightly, "but you have to book me."

"Book what? What do you mean?" Qing Ruo asked, confusion evident in her tone.

Alex couldn't hold back his laughter. "I'm currently working for a go-go agency, so you have to book me, hahaha!"

"Hey, did you have financial problems?" Qing Ruo questioned, a hint of concern in her voice.

"Nope! I'm just doing it for fun, so book me fast, Miss VIP customer!" Alex teased.

Qing Ruo sighed dramatically. "Okay, okay, wait. What's your ID?"

Alex puffed out his chest, even though she couldn't see him. "It's Pro RDK."

"Alright, done," Qing Ruo said.

"Okay, I'll be coming, wait!" Alex hung up, a wide grin on his face. He quickly switched back to his Bambargine G1. This was going to be an interesting ride.

After six minutes, Alex pulled up to the location Qing Ruo had sent. He spotted her standing impatiently by the curb. He lowered his window and called out, "Miss, are you 5521 Qing Ruo?"

Qing Ruo rolled her eyes and huffed. "Hey! Don't mess with me and she get into the car!"

"Okay, sorry," Alex chuckled, trying to suppress his laughter. "Where do you want to go?"

"I want to go home," Qing replied, settling into the passenger seat.

The ride was filled with playful banter and catching up. Qing Ruo couldn't believe Alex was actually working as a go-go driver, especially with such a fancy car. Alex explained his sudden "Pro Driver" skills and the crazy amount of money he was making, which only made Qing Ruo more incredulous.

After eight minutes, Alex pulled up in front of a huge, luxurious house. "Miss Qing, you're home," he announced.

"Oh, thanks," Qing said, a warm smile gracing her lips. "You wanna come inside, honey?"

Alex's eyes widened slightly. "Okay, let's go!"

He followed Qing Ruo into the house, his jaw practically dropping as he took in the opulent interior. Everything was grand and elegant. "Wow, Qing Ruo! Your house is huge!" he exclaimed, completely awestruck. This was definitely a different world from his own apartment. He wondered what kind of adventures this unexpected detour would lead to.

Alex followed Qing Ruo through the massive foyer, his eyes darting around, trying to take it all in. There were sparkling chandeliers, marble floors that looked like they could reflect the sky, and artwork that probably cost more than his entire apartment building.

"Make yourself comfortable," Qing Ruo said, gesturing towards a plush white sofa in a spacious living room. "Can I get you anything to drink? Juice? Soda?"

"Uh, juice would be great, thanks," Alex mumbled, still a bit overwhelmed. He sank into the soft cushions, feeling like he was sitting on a cloud.

Qing Ruo disappeared into what looked like a state-of-the-art kitchen and returned a few moments later with two glasses of orange juice. She handed one to Alex and sat down on a nearby armchair.

"So," she said, taking a sip of her juice, "you're really doing this go-go driving thing for fun?"

Alex nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! It's actually been pretty crazy. I even become pro at driving? And the money is insane!" He decided not to tell about system and leave out the part about the hidden missions and the disappearing vehicles for now. It sounded a bit too unbelievable, even to him sometimes.

Qing Ruo raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on her face. "Pro Driver? Like what? Can you Drive a car like crazy or something?"

Alex chuckled. "Not quite. But let's just say I've become a really, really good driver."

They spent the next hour chatting and catching up. Alex learned that Qing Ruo was also a fashion designer and was in the middle of preparing for a big show. She was usually chauffeured around, so her car being in service was a rare inconvenience.

As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the huge living room, Qing Ruo suddenly stood up. "Hey, Alex, since you're here, would you mind helping me with something?"

"Sure, what is it?" Alex asked, curious.

"I have a bunch of fabric samples that need to be moved to my studio. It's on the other side of the house, and they're kind of heavy," she explained.

"No problem, lead the way!" Alex said, happy to help.

Qing Ruo led him through a series of hallways that seemed to go on forever. Alex couldn't believe how big this house was! They finally reached a large double door. Qing Ruo pushed it open, revealing a bright and airy studio filled with racks of colorful fabrics, sewing machines, and design sketches pinned to a large board.

"Wow, this is amazing!" Alex exclaimed, his eyes wide with admiration.

Qing Ruo smiled, clearly proud of her workspace. "Thanks! Now, those boxes over there need to go to that corner." She pointed to a stack of heavy-looking cardboard boxes.

Alex rolled up his sleeves. "Alright, let's do it!" He easily lifted one of the boxes, surprised by how light it felt despite its size. Maybe his "+17 strength"?

Together, they moved all the fabric samples to the designated corner. As they finished, Qing Ruo clapped her hands together. "Perfect! Thanks so much, Alex. You're a lifesaver!"

"No problem, it was fun!" Alex said, feeling a sense of satisfaction.

Alex grinned at Qing Ruo, feeling a little bold. "Well," he said playfully, "since I went out of my way and even helped you move all those heavy boxes, maybe I deserve a little reward, Miss Qing Ruo."

Qing Ruo raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Oh really? And what kind of reward did you have in mind, Pro RDK?"

Alex hesitated for a moment, a blush creeping up his cheeks. "Um… maybe a kiss?" he mumbled, looking down slightly.

Qing Ruo's smile softened. She stepped closer to him, her eyes sparkling. Gently, she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "Is that okay?" she asked, her voice a whisper.

Alex looked up, a wide smile spreading across his face. "Yes," he said, feeling a little giddy. "That was… perfect."

But Inside his head, a different kind of calculation was taking place. Qing Ruo's interest value is now 99, he thought to himself, a mischievous spark flickering in his eyes. Only I need +1 interest value, then I will get special rewards, hahahah.

He didn't quite know what these "special rewards" were, but the thought of them filled him with a secret excitement. He knew he had to think of something really good to get that last point. What could it be? He pondered, his mind already racing with possibilities, completely unaware of the genuine affection in Qing Ruo's gaze.

There was a moment of comfortable silence between them, the lingering warmth of the kiss still on Alex's lips. The grand foyer of the mansion seemed to fade into the background as they looked at each other.

Then, Alex's phone buzzed loudly, breaking the spell. He pulled it out to see a new go-go order flashing on the screen.

"Duty calls, I guess," he said with a sigh, though he couldn't wipe the smile off his face.

Qing Ruo chuckled. "Looks like your fans can't get enough of Pro RDK."

"Something like that," Alex replied, winking. "Thanks again for the… reward, Miss Qing Ruo."

"Anytime, Alex," she said, her eyes twinkling. "Drive safe!"

Alex headed out of the mansion, feeling a little lightheaded and very happy. He couldn't believe how his day had turned out. From a regular go-go driver to a "Pro" with special skills, a ton of money, and now… a kiss from Qing Ruo! This was definitely the most exciting job he'd ever had.

He hopped into his Bambargine G1, the familiar leather seats feeling extra comfortable now. He checked the details of his next order. It was a pickup from a fancy restaurant downtown.

As he drove through the city streets, the memory of Qing Ruo's kiss lingered. He couldn't help but smile to himself. Maybe this go-go driving adventure was going to be even more interesting than he initially thought. He wondered what other surprises – and maybe even rewards – were waiting for him. He was definitely looking forward to finding out!
