Chapter 422 - What Matters Most

If it weren't for the curse, Wen Nuan would have never tried to figure out if her mother was her biological parent. The truth didn't matter to her; she believed that her mom was her mom, no matter what.

But because of the curse, she had to uncover the truth.

For Wen Nuan, this was a very painful thing.

Ye Feimo was right there, his scent lingering around her, but he would never know what she was thinking, worrying about, or caring about. He thought the problem in their marriage was because of the miscarriage.

Should she tell him?

Wen Nuan had thought about telling Ye Feimo everything. She had thought about just letting it all go and staying with him, even if they only had a few days together because of the curse. As long as they were happy, a short life wouldn't matter.

They could pretend that she only had a few years to live and just enjoy their time together.

Just like if she had cancer, Ye Feimo would definitely choose to stay with her until the very end.
