Their tense shoulders quickly eased.
I noticed the holographic name tag on their overalls.
The first was a rough-bearded man called Ben.
The second was a pudgy man called Noah.
"Haahaaha.... So that's the reason you pulled out your weapon. We almost thought that you were going to attack us. Fortunately, that wasn't the case," Ben laughed nervously, as he cleared the sweat on his brow and said.
He briefly hesitated before asking, "Are you the tenant here?"
I nodded in response.
"My partner and I were summoned by the dorm supervisor, Sinbad, to repair the damages in your room. Now that the repair is completed, we'll be on our way," Ben quickly gestured with his eyes at his partner as he attempted to walk around me with hurried steps.
The other quickly followed behind them.
However, I blocked their path.
Their smiles stiffened.
"Young noble, please..."
"I just want to ask you a few questions," I injected, ensuring they understood that I meant no harm.
