The next day, when everyone gathered together for breakfast, they seemed to have completely forgotten what happened last night.
At the table, no one mentioned it. Instead, they talked about some interesting things that had happened recently.
Firstly, the secrets of the Heroic Spirit Synchronization were not suitable for open discussion.
Secondly, what happened between Olvia, Robin, and Caelan yesterday was also not appropriate to bring up.
But the strange thing was, Olvia and Robin, a pair of mother and daughter who looked like sisters, showed great intimacy without any barriers.
It was as if nothing had happened.
Only, whenever Olvia looked at Caelan, her expression would become a little unnatural.
Clearly, what happened yesterday was still engraved in her mind and could not be forgotten.
The best way to overcome fear is to face it. Olvia decided to confront the enemy head-on.
"Mr. Caelan, I heard that you've seen many Poneglyphs? One of them was on the legendary Sky Island?" Olvia asked curiously.
According to Robin's account, Caelan had led them to discover Poneglyphs in Alabasta, Sky Island, and Fishman Island.
Especially the one on Sky Island, which turned out to be the golden city of Shandora, praised in legend.
For an archaeologist, this was a fatal temptation.
She became more and more impressed by Robin's luck in meeting someone as reliable as Caelan.
When she first went out to sea, she endured untold hardships yet found very few Poneglyphs, and the ones she recorded were mostly insignificant little events.
"Why? You want to go to Sky Island to take a look?" Caelan casually asked while chewing on food.
"I do have the thought, but I don't know if it would be convenient," Olvia said hesitantly.
She really wanted to see the Poneglyph on Sky Island, and she also wanted to take this chance to escape from the awkward relationship with Caelan.
What? Did she say she'd face her fears?
No, although running away is shameful, sometimes it works.
However, Robin quickly interjected to stop her. "Now that Caelan has raised the banner of resistance against the World Government, it's not appropriate for us to cause him trouble at this time."
Olvia looked at Robin awkwardly. Her own daughter was not being very helpful.
But Robin was right, and she couldn't argue against it.
"If you want to go, then go and enjoy yourselves. I'll stay here in Dressrosa," Caelan said indifferently.
Now that all the women were Heroic Spirits, there would be no danger if they went out.
And Nojiko's Float-Float Fruit ability had developed very well. She could fly directly up to the sky, avoiding a lot of trouble.
"Is this really okay? You're working hard to guard Dressrosa, and we go out to play?" Robin asked a little embarrassed.
Although Caelan didn't seem to have anything urgent, it still didn't feel right for them to be going off.
"It's nothing," Caelan said. "You're not just going there for fun. Bring down the gold I left there."
He remembered that when he went to Sky Island before, he had left behind about two-thirds of the gold.
At the time, he thought it was a lot, but later realized it was just a thick layer of gold plating.
It was still a fortune, just not as much as he initially thought.
Even so, the remaining two-thirds was still worth about three billion Berries, which was not something to ignore.
"In that case, we should definitely go," Robin finally agreed.
Olvia suddenly felt happy. Was her daughter being too strict, or was Caelan just considerate?
Still, if Caelan cared this much, could he have other intentions?
But she was a married woman, and though her husband had been gone a long time, it was still inappropriate.
Olvia's eyes lingered on Caelan as her thoughts wandered again.
"If any of you want to go, you can all go together. With Nojiko's Float-Float Fruit, going up and down is very convenient."
Caelan didn't know what Olvia was thinking and instead addressed Nami and the others.
If they were going, it was better to go as a group.
Suddenly, many of the girls became excited.
Only a few of them had been to Sky Island before, and the rest were very curious about the legendary land above the clouds.
"I want to go!"
"Me too!"
Uta and Perona excitedly clung to Caelan's arms, acting coquettishly from both sides.
As young girls, they couldn't resist the temptation of Sky Island at all.
"Everyone, everyone…" Caelan said helplessly, feeling their soft, youthful energy pressing against him.
"Great! Gion, let's go see Sky Island together!" Uta then hugged Gion and invited her.
"I won't go. I still need to take care of the Neo Navy," Gion said, patting Uta's head and gently declining.
She also wanted to see the legendary Sky Island, but she was currently the only pillar of the Neo Navy.
Although there were no large-scale actions, manpower was stretched thin to protect the 17 allied states of the Illuminati, which left her quite distressed.
"Thank you for your hard work. I really don't know what I would do without you. I'll find someone to help share your burden as soon as possible," Caelan said, patting her shoulder in comfort.
He knew how difficult it was for Gion to handle everything alone, and she had truly suffered during this time.
"Then I'll look forward to it," Gion replied with a faint smile, accepting his praise with ease.
Suddenly, Caelan seemed to think of something. He turned to Robin and the others. "When you go to Sky Island this time, try bringing some warriors back. The Shandians and Gan Fall's men are excellent fighters."
He remembered that back then, the Sky Islanders even wanted to build him a statue, so he figured they would be willing to contribute to his cause.
It would also help relieve Gion's burden.
"No problem. I think they'll be happy to agree," Robin said with a smile.
With the Sky Islanders' desire for land and Caelan's kindness toward them, recruiting warriors would not be an issue.
They finished breakfast in a cheerful atmosphere and made their preparations.
Before leaving, Nami and Nojiko sought out Caelan alone.
When they reappeared, there was a strong woman in a Marine uniform with them. It was Bell-mère, who had died at the hands of the Arlong Pirates.
Although they worried it might lead to an embarrassing situation like with Olvia, considering that souls would wear away with time, they decided to revive Bell-mère as soon as possible.
Seeing her standing before them again, Nami and Nojiko were overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude for Caelan.
It was just in time for Bell-mère to join them on this Sky Island trip, giving her a joyful "resurrection holiday."
At noon, a large ship rose into the sky with the power of Nojiko's Float-Float Fruit.
"Goodbye, Caelan. We'll definitely bring back what you want!" the girls waved excitedly from the deck.
"Have fun," Caelan and Gion said together, sending their blessings.
Watching them depart for Sky Island, Gion returned to her Neo Navy duties while Caelan prepared to study the contactless magic input device.
But on the way back, Morgans handed Caelan a freshly published newspaper.
"Tsk, Gion, looks like someone's here to share your burden," Caelan said, raising an eyebrow as he waved the paper with a smile.
"What do you mean?" Gion asked, taking the newspaper in confusion.
Her eyes widened when she saw the striking headline.
[Whitebeard II, the great pirate Edward Weevil, joins the Seven Warlords of the Sea!]
[Warrior God of Science and Defense, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, declared: "The Navy has once again welcomed a powerful ally, and we continue to thrive!"]
