Tracy tiptoed into the basketball court looking around for signs of Miguel and his friends. She had seen him training when she passed by so she decided to stop by. Rounding a corner she caught sight of the tall boy throwing the ball into the net. Taking a deep breath, she looked around for Tom and Adrian and there they were.
In a bench with Tom head on Adrian laps.
"Man, I'm hungry" Tom complained loudly and Adrian brought out a pack of snacks.
"Here" He said and planted a kiss on Tom's lips.
Tracy let out a soft gasp and turned to concentrate on Miguel. Sweat soaked jersey, wet hair and a basket ball in his hands, he stood tall in the field.
Tracy sat at the far end of the court watching him play and her stomach rumbled causing her to yawn.
"Who's there?" Tom asked as he raised his head scanning the field.
"You heard that right?"Miguel asked as he looked around.
With her heart in her mouth, Tracy squatted behind the chairs covering her mouth with her hands with wide eyes.
"Do you think they are taking pictures of us, just to affirm the rumors?" Adrian asked Tom jokingly.
"Oh gosh" Tracy mumbled under her breath as Miguel started walking towards her,and she did the only thing that came to her mind at that moment, Run.
She turned back and started running out of the field but looking back she saw no one, she took a deep breath and headed to her car but she saw a figure leaning against her car,Miguel.
"What are you doing here?" Miguel asked with raised eyebrows.
"Hmm…I was just passing by so…" She stuttered.
"Passing by" Miguel repeated and glanced at her before walking away.
"I hope it was just passing by" He added and left.
Tracy placed her hand on her chest and got into her car driving away.
Anne stopped her bike and turned to look at the two figures that have been following her all through the day.
"So who are you guys?" She asked even though she knew the answer.
"We were sent by the priestess to protect you" They answered. Sea blue eyes and white hair, they did not look human with long legs and flawless skins.
"So what are your names?" She asked again.
"I'm Laila and my sister name is Chloe" Laila introduced.
"I'm Anne"
"We know" The one called Chloe said.
"How about you guys don't follow me into school and class, it's kind of weird" Anne said.
"They can't see us if you are worried about that" Chloe muttered.
"I know but…" Anne was saying.
"OK, we won't follow you to school" Laila interrupted.
"What do you mean, we were given a mission"Chloe said glaring at Laila.
"Thank you" Anne gave a small smile and started her bike speeding off.
A white cottage.
"How about we attend her school" Becky suggested.
"As what? Humans" Rina asked seemingly uninterested.
"Yes, we get to know her and become close to her and also protecting her, it's killing three birds with one stone"Becky sputtered.
"I'm in" Theo said with his hands around Becky's waist.
"What do you think, Mel?" Alvin turned to Melissa.
"Good but a lot of things are needed, we can't go to the school from here or without an identity, so if we are doing this, we need a house, an identity with our names and I think certificates" Melissa stated.
"Leave that to me" Theo chipped in.
"How long will that take you?" Alvin asked.
"A week"
"So we are all in?" Becky clarified looking at Rina.
"Anything that works" She said.
Moonlight High school.
"So your mid semester test results have been pasted on the notice board" Mr Jones said after one week of tests.
"Oh my… Immediately after the tests are the results, I'm so nervous" Angel mumbled.
"That's because you are dumb" Mulan chortled with a laugh.
The bell rang for lunch break and the students rushed out of the class heading to the notice board.
Miguel at first, Tom at second, Adrian at third, Shawn at fourth and… Malia at fifth.
"Oh God" Tracy gushed. "Girl, you did it"
Malia lips curved into a smile as they continued peering into the notice board. Anne and Tracy came out 7th and 8th respectively.
Malia looked over at Shawn but he was engrossed in his discussion with Chelsea and her legs moved without her permission and she soon found herself standing before Shawn and Chelsea.
"Not dumb… not just much of a reader" She said to Chelsea who glared at her before walking hurriedly out of there making sure not to glance at Shawn.
"You said that?" Shawn asked with disbelief written all over his face.
"I.. I… I just wanted… I'm sorry" She stammered with her eyes lowered.
"I don't believe you did this" Shawn said and started walking away.
"I'm sorry, Shawn" Chelsea said and hurried after him but not without glaring hard at Malia.
Anne pulled Malia away from there to the cafeteria.
"You were about to eat him up with your eyes" Anne teased.
"Not my fault tho" Malia shrugged as she gulped down a glass of water.
"So what about Larry?" Malia questioned.
"Nothing much, still friends and he is a pretty good guy but I'm still not ready for those stuffs yet" Anne said and Malia nodded.
"What are you reading another love letter?" Malia asked as she turned to Tracy.
"Probably from one of those juniors" She pointed to the end of the cafeteria where a group of junior boys were gathered.
White cottage.
Melissa and Alvin were at the back of the cottage training with Rina and Becky watching them all waiting for Theo who had been gone for a week now.
"I'm back" He announced his arrival as he leaned in to plant a kiss on Becky's forehead.
"New Identity cards"He said and throwed different identity cards to everyone.
"I kinda like this picture you used" Melissa commented and picked up her sword.
"The apartment?" Alvin asked.
"Bought already, a ten minute drive to the school" Theo replied.
"Then let's get ready for school tomorrow" Becky gushed and Rina rolled her eyes at her dramatic behavior.
