Andrew walked into his classroom and took his seat at the front. He settled in and opened his Physics textbook, focusing intently on the pages.
Pieces of papers were being launched at him by his classmates. Andrew adjusted his eyeglasses and fixed his gaze on the book without turning to reprimand those throwing papers at him.
He was already used to this bullshit! Andrew's social life at school has been this way since elementary school.
He thought things would change in highschool, but damn,pieces of papers are been thrown at him immediately he entered class.
He adjusted his glasses again and turned the page of the book.
For some reason, the papers being thrown at him halted. He didn't seem to care why they stopped and continued with his avid reading.
The class fell silent suddenly.
Now something was definitely wrong. It can't be a teacher, as they won't be having class for another 15 minutes.
He finally decided to shift his gaze from the book to see what exactly had stopped the nonsense that was going on in the class earlier before.
To his utmost surprise, the girl standing in front of his desk was Anna Xandros, a Year 2 student and the most popular female student in school.
"We need to talk, Andrew" she said in a soft, commanding tone.
"Huh?"
Andrew was shocked, he has never imagined a girl like Anna approaching and talking to him.
The excitement faded away as he suspected she might have also come to play a prank on him.
"Can we talk...privately?" She asked politely.
"Urmmm....okay" Andrew stammered. He hesitated to stand from his seat. Talk? Privately?
"This was another prank again" he thought, but didn't have the morale to turn down Anna's invitation.
They went out of the classroom and went to the school's library to start their "private talk".
"I like you Andrew" she revealed, her cheeks turning red, with love and soberness written all over her face.
"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm?"
Andrew was dumbfounded, he couldn't believe his ears. One of the hottest girls he had ever seen in his life just confessed her feelings to him.
He went numb and was speechless.
Anna kept looking at him, expecting words to flow out of his mouth.
She then pecked him on the cheek and ran out of the library, smiling and blushing.
Andrew kept rubbing his cheek, remembering how it all happened, he was lost in thought that he didn't notice he was almost getting to the end of the dimly lit passageway.
He wanted to get back to Anna as soon as possible, but for starters, deal with the Elf king.
Andrew got to the end of the passageway and stopped in front of a long door.

Suddenly a small box appeared in front of him. It then started to glitch and pixelate, displaying a key.
He took a deep breath and unlocked the door with the key, and pushed it open. He stepped through the door way and entered a room lit with glowing fiery fire red torches in every corner and pillar of the room.
The room was filled with red elves, each holding a different weapon, then a more muscular one sat on a throne at the far end of the room.
He wrapped animal fur around his legs leaving his muscular upper body exposed with scars all over his face and body.
"That's must be Ramos" Andrew muttered staring at the muscular elf.
The blue-black transparent prompt appeared in front of him again.

Andrew assumed a fighting stance, with the dagger firmly held in his right hand.

Andrew confidence vanished immediately after the countdown, he couldn't move a muscle.
'This isn't like the VR game? This is real life..or real dream? Whatever..just dammit'
"Huhhhh....Another one?" Ramos scoffed.
"We will need a bigger prison....but we might as well send this one to the heaven's gate".
The other elves laughed, mocking Andrew who was already sweating profusely.
"Heyyyyyy....say your last prayers!" Ramos yelled. " I hate you these pesty gamers! One of you killed my son" he yelled in anger.
'One of you?' Andrew was confused.
" He was the only one that got past level one...let's see you break his record" Ramos ended his speech with a wicked laughter.
Not the only gamer? More of us? Here? .....
Questions kept popping into Andrew's mind of which he had no answer to.
" Enough of the story telling... Let's get serious" Ramos declared. With a wave of his hand different fire elves charged at Andrew.
"Huhh?"
Andrew was confused and scared.
Should he run? Should he attack also?
He didn't know what to do.
In that moment he felt like he should have chosen the "reincarnation request" instead of choosing the one whereby angry-looking elves wants to kill you!
