Suddenly, the calm sea erupted with towering waves as an incredibly massive figure burst from the depths. A torrent of seawater poured down, enough to submerge a small fleet.
"GRAAGHH~"
A hoarse roar echoed across the sea. The shadowy figure was a giant Sea King with a lion's head and a single spiraled horn on its forehead. Its body was a mix of red and yellow, covered in fish scales and black fins. Just the part of its body that was above the water was hundreds of meters tall. The part submerged was probably over a thousand meters long.
Logically, a Sea King this size should have been a dominant force in the Calm Belt, the Sea King's nesting ground. But now, it was thrashing wildly, with several bloody, mangled wounds on its body. Crimson blood poured out, staining the sea red.
"You beast, what are you roaring about?!"
A furious roar, followed by a flash of a black dot. The giant Sea King seemed to have been hit by a heavy blow, a dent appearing on its head, and its entire body toppled to the side.
When the black dot landed, a tall, burly man with a pair of horns was seen running across the giant lion-headed Sea King's massive body, carrying three spiked clubs.
"Boring! So boring! This is so boring!"
The man shouted like a madman, then pushed off with his feet, launching himself into the air and instantly rushing to the Sea King's neck.

In the air, the man brought his spiked club down with an immense force, a fierce gust of wind swirling around it.

From a distance, the lion-headed Sea King's entire body shuddered violently. Its long neck snapped sideways, folding almost in half. The bones jutted out, and a large fountain of blood sprayed out, quickly staining the sea.

The colossal body collapsed into the sea, creating powerful waves that spread outward, causing the ocean to churn endlessly. For an ordinary animal, a broken neck like this would have been fatal, but this giant Sea King had an incredibly tenacious life force. "This world is so boring!!!" the man roared, standing on the lion-headed Sea King's body. His massive voice created a sonic boom that spread in all directions, shaking a large part of the sea.
Dozens of nautical miles away, a battered large ship flying the World Government's flag was hit by the sudden waves. The towering wall of water smashed into the ship, and a massive amount of seawater instantly flooded in.
"No!" On the deck, a person wearing a bubble helmet screamed in shock and fury as the water surged in.

Outside the island, a giant black wolf-headed warship was anchored at the port. In the lookout tower, several women with bows and arrows curiously stared at the warship.
"Wow, what a huge ship. It's even bigger than Empress Boa's ship."
"Are those men? It's my first time seeing them."
"Why are their chests so flat?"
"How strange. They don't look like us at all."
The female warriors of the Kuja discussed among themselves as they stared at the people on the Chris.

"It's the Chris Pirates!"
"They want to see the Empress. What should we do?"
Even these semi-secluded Kuja female warriors were surprised when Mosa announced their crew's name.
"Wait here! I'll go inform the Empress!" a cold and beautiful woman with long, phoenix-like eyes stepped forward. Her black hair was tied in a high ponytail, and a red snake was coiled around her body. She shouted to Mosa. Then, she turned and gave a few instructions to the female warriors behind her, who hurried away.
The port fell silent, with neither side making any more moves.
Inside the Kuja Palace...
In the main seat, a peerless beauty wearing a cheongsam with the Kuja symbol on it sat atop a red-and-white spotted python. On either side of her stood two tall women, several meters high, one with green hair and the other with orange hair. In the hall, a group of female warriors with bows and arrows and snakes coiled around them were gathered, seemingly discussing something.
"Empress, the Chris Pirates are outside and want to meet you!" a Kuja warrior burst in like a gust of wind.
