"Okay, I'm done. Can you introduce yourself now?" Aeridar asked, as if he had run out of things to say.
"I am…"
Enel's face was dark. He was about to continue the sentence he had been trying to say. If he hadn't felt a strong sense of danger from the man and if he hadn't been able to withstand his "Heaven's Judgment," he would have just killed this bastard with a lightning bolt by now.
"Wait, I know who you are!"
But before Enel could get out more than two words, Aeridar interrupted him again. He looked like he had an 'epiphany.' "You're the new 'God,' right?! Your name is Enel, isn't it?! Yeah, that's right. Your ability, the Logia-type Rumble-Rumble Fruit, is very powerful! By the way, where is that old man Gan Fall?"
Enel had been interrupted twice in a row and was so choked up with rage that he almost spat blood. "You bastard! Do you have any idea who you're talking to?! I am 'God'! Die! 60,000,000 Volt Lightning Dragon!!"
With that, the always arrogant and reckless Enel erupted in fury.
Thump! Thump!
Enel struck two of the taiko drums on his back with his golden staff. The drums lit up with a blinding blue-white light, and lightning shot out, merging to form a colossal dragon. Following the direction of Enel's golden staff, the dragon lunged toward Aeridar.
"Impact Shield!"
Aeridar glanced at Enel sideways, formed his hand into a palm, and pushed forward, unleashing a powerful impact that compressed the air in front of him, forming a tangible wall of air.
Zzzzzt, zzzzt, zzzzt!
The immense Lightning Dragon slammed into the air wall, and the terrifying electrical power contained within it erupted, accompanied by a blinding flash of light. However, when the lightning dragon dissipated, the tangible air wall remained in front of Aeridar, completely unharmed.
Enel had felt a momentary thrill, as if he had "penetrated the enemy's armor," but now he was just frustrated that his attack had been useless.
"I've met people on the seas who call themselves 'Gods' before (Celestial Dragons), and while they're a bunch of arrogant weaklings, the power they wield isn't something a guy like you with big ears can compare to." Aeridar scoffed mockingly. "You're just a mere Logia-type user. You really don't know your place, do you?"
"You bastard! You are… blaspheming 'God'!"
Enel stared at Aeridar, his eyes filled with killing intent. He believed his power was a gift from the heavens and that he was a born god. He could not tolerate anyone who disrespected a god.
Zzzzzzt! Zzzzzzt!
Enel held his golden staff and suddenly vanished from his spot, leaving only a few arcs of electricity dancing in the air.
Whoosh!
Aeridar tilted his head, dodging a golden staff that shot past his ear.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
Enel, who had moved behind Aeridar in a flash of lightning, saw his attack miss and swung his golden staff again and again. But Aeridar easily dodged all of Enel's attacks without even turning his head.
"You can use Mantra, too?!"
Seeing that his attacks were useless, Enel was shocked. He quickly stopped and flashed to the trunk of a large tree a dozen meters away. What surprised him most was that his Mantra couldn't predict the man's movements.
"You call it Mantra?"
Aeridar slowly turned around, hovering in the air. He looked at Enel mockingly. "I guess that's an acceptable name."
"You can fly, create powerful shockwaves with your bare hands, and you have Mantra. Are you a god from the Blue Sea?" Enel asked with a frown.
Although Aeridar's display of power astonished him, Enel believed his "invincible" lightning body made him untouchable. So, he wasn't afraid.
"How ridiculous, you big-eared idiot. If you can call yourself a 'God,' what does that make me? 'God King'? Hahahaha!" Aeridar couldn't help but laugh out loud at the sight of Enel, who, despite having the powerful Rumble-Rumble Fruit, was nothing more than a worm under a rock.
"I'm going… to kill you!"
Faced with Aeridar's ridicule, Enel's rage instantly exploded. His heart was filled with a murderous intent.
Zzzzzzt, zzzzt, zzzzt!
Enel's grip on his golden staff caused a searing high-voltage current to course through it. The intense heat caused the golden staff to melt and change shape.
Lightning Smelting!
When the high-voltage current disappeared, the golden staff in Enel's hand had been transformed into a golden trident.
"Die!"
Enel's body flickered, leaving a few arcs of electricity behind, and he instantly appeared in front of Aeridar. The still-hot golden trident lunged toward his chest.
Just as the golden trident was about to pierce Aeridar, he shifted his body slightly, dodging Enel's strike, and simultaneously threw a punch at Enel's abdomen.
Enel was disappointed that he missed but couldn't help but smirk when he saw the man was using his fist to attack him. He said arrogantly, "It's useless! I'm a…"
Bang!
Before Enel could finish his sentence, Aeridar's punch landed squarely on his abdomen, sending the rest of his words back down his throat.
"Ughhh!"
Enel felt as if his intestines had been ruptured. He coughed up a mouthful of blood, and the immense force of the punch sent him flying backward, leaving a trail of blood in the air.
"He got hit!!!"
The Four Priests on the ground were shocked. Their eyes bulged, and their jaws dropped. It was the first time they had ever seen anyone hurt God Enel with their bare hands. It was unbelievable.
Rumble!
Enel, now a black shadow, slammed into a towering tree a dozen meters away. But he didn't stop there; he smashed straight through the tree, which was four or five meters in diameter, and crashed into the ground. The enormous impact left a massive crater, and the residual force cracked the ground for several meters around it.
"Cough, cough…"
Enel lay in the crater, coughing up blood. The punch had nearly knocked him out.
Zzzzt! Zzzzt!
Stimulated by the lightning, Enel managed to crawl out of the crater. He looked up at Aeridar in the air, his eyes filled with disbelief. "What… are you?"
Aeridar slowly flew over and stopped about ten meters from Enel and five meters above the ground. A look of surprise appeared on his face. "As expected of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. You can still get up. You've trained your body pretty well, too."
That punch would have killed a T-Rex on the spot. It was surprising to see Enel, a "mage" who specialized in his Devil Fruit ability and Observation Haki, still standing.
