Ten minutes later...
The intelligence team stood frozen. Every screen displayed one thing—nothing. Servers offline. Defense grids obliterated. Classified and public data alike—compromised. Panic was creeping in.
The mayor's face was pale with disbelief.
"Reasonable," Mr. Alex whispered with a faint chuckle as he watched his enemy's digital empire fall into silence.
Meanwhile…
Kayla and Ale moved cautiously through the long-abandoned Cakra base. They followed a flickering digital map projected on Kayla's device—thankfully, Tommy had sent it to them in advance. Without it, they would've been lost in the maze of this colossal facility.
"This place is huge... four times bigger than the current base," Kayla muttered, scanning the decaying corridors. "Why was it abandoned?"
"A dark tragedy," Ale replied quietly. "It happened during the era of Andre... a four-stripe commander—two ranks above me."
Kayla raised an eyebrow. "A dark tragedy? I didn't know Cakra had a history that grim."
Ale only nodded, then picked up his pace. "Come on. We need to reach the server room."
Unbeknownst to them, deep within a sealed chamber—now crumbling with age—a hidden terror stirred.
A spider.
No, not an experiment gone wrong. This was a mutated beast, twisted by decades of chemical radiation. Its body was the size of a bull, chitinous and cracked, its eight eyes glowing crimson in the dark.
Inside the server room, Kayla quickly connected a chipset containing the Ghostnerve: Alpha Build. The massive console let out a low hum. Moments later, the monitor flickered to life.
Kayla immediately opened a file labeled:
TOMMY/AJECT/SCREET
As expected, a notification popped up:
"Locked file. Access denied."
She didn't flinch. She opened a toolkit and began dragging the file into the decryptor.
Click.
The next file loaded but still required credentials. Kayla typed in a password Tommy had given her.
One minute later...
File accessed.
Suddenly—
BOOM!!
A violent crash echoed from the back hallway.
The sealed wall exploded outward, debris flying into the room like shrapnel. Dust filled the air. From the rubble, it emerged—
The mutant spider.
Its monstrous form hissed, legs clicking violently against concrete. Its obsidian-black body shimmered with chemical corrosion, twitching with rage.
Kayla sprang to her feet. "What the hell...?"
Ale instinctively drew his sawed-off shotgun and aimed.
"That thing's no experiment. It's a product of the radiation leak... from Andre's time," he muttered, bracing himself.
The spider lunged.
BLAM!!
The first shot hit its left leg—green fluid sprayed from the wound, but the beast pressed forward.
"KAYLA! KEEP WORKING! I'LL HANDLE IT!" Ale shouted.
Kayla turned back to the screen, fingers shaking but precise. She opened the directory again. Another locked folder:
TOMMY/PROTECT/SCREET
She slid it into the decryptor. A loading bar appeared:
Loading: 87%...
Behind her, the spider's screech ripped through the room. Ale fired again.
BLAM!!
This time, the slug shattered one of its glowing eyes. The creature shrieked, flailing violently.
Ale gritted his teeth. "Hurry... Kayla…"
Kayla typed the final password.
Access Granted.
A new file appeared:
EXTRA_PROTOCOL_075262
She opened it.
The screen changed. An old instruction code appeared:
> ACTIVATE GHOSTNERVE_0 — OWNER: TOMMY
She pressed "Y".
The monitor blacked out.
Then, a voice emerged from the old speakers:
> "Authorization accepted. Downloading Digital Phantom: Ghostnerve."
Blue light engulfed the room. A humanoid hologram began to form—ghostly, transparent, wrapped in flowing lines of live data. Its eyes glowed neon blue.
Kayla gasped. "Ghostnerve…"
It wasn't a bot. It wasn't a conventional AI.
It was pure digital warfare. A phantom weapon designed by Tommy himself—buried deep in the old base, only activatable by the right chip... and the right code.
The spider screamed and lunged at her one last time—
Ghostnerve moved.
It shot through the server, lighting up dormant circuits across the facility. A power panel activated.
ZZRRAATT!!
Electric surges burst from the walls, striking the creature's body. The spider convulsed, spasmed, then slammed into the far wall, screaming in agony.
Ale stared, stunned. "What the hell is that thing…?"
Kayla stepped forward, eyes cold.
"That… is Tommy's secret weapon. The first Ghostnerve. And now... it's ours."
She quickly rewrote the ownership code.
> GHOSTNERVE/ZERO
USERNAME: KAYLA765
CODE ACCESS: ARX76286282
**PASSWORD: **********
One final click. The algorithm spun into motion.
Ghostnerve now belonged to Kayla.
She smiled faintly as she downloaded the entire program into a secured hard drive.
Within minutes, they left the old base.
En route to their current HQ, Kayla uploaded a copy of Ghostnerve into a clone chip—this one loaded with fake data, designed as a trojan. When accessed, it would silently infiltrate any system, slip into their core undetected, and take full control from within.
Elsewhere...
City Command Server Room
The command center was a graveyard. Monitors black, feeds lost, no sound but the occasional flicker of an emergency light.
One tech whispered, barely audible:
"The entire city server... gone."
"Public data... surveillance... communications... all wiped."
"The last firewall collapsed... it's over…"
The mayor stood, staring into silence. Outside, chaos was brewing—citizens began to panic, unaware of who or what had erased their digital world.
But not Recandra.
He had never uploaded his real data to government servers.
His identity remained buried inside an encrypted, private server—untouchable, unreadable, unreachable.
And elsewhere...
Mr. Alex's Hideout – Location Unknown
The soft hum of machines echoed through a dark room. One monitor remained active, lines of red code crawling across like veins spreading through a dying network.
Mr. Alex sat calmly, spinning a flash drive between his fingers.
He smiled.
"Reasonable," he murmured again, as if commenting on a mild weather forecast.
His eyes gleamed with something darker than victory.
This wasn't just sabotage.
This... was the erasure of digital existence.
"Let's see how fast they rebuild..." he whispered. "If they even can."
And behind him, a red warning blinked faintly:
> EKSEKUTOR MODE: DestroID — ACTIVE
He had no idea...
That Ale and Kayla were already two moves ahead.
