If you were to ask who the most impressive Asian trainer is to Europeans, most people would answer 'Frances'. The main reason lies in the recent global championships, where European champions have suffered humiliating defeats.

However, if you added the word 'recent' to this question, then almost everyone would think of one amazingly talented young man.

Therefore, almost instantly, the Europeans in the investigation team recognized the person standing atop the divine dragon's head.

"Roy? It's really him!"

"How can he stand on top of a 'god'?"

"Are you sure he actually needs our help?"

The investigation team members whispered among themselves, their faces filled with shock and bewilderment.

However, it must be said that the investigation team members were all highly professional individuals. While surprise was natural, they behaved with extreme caution, not daring to make the slightest sound for fear of disturbing the fierce-looking dragon soaring above them.

The investigation team members exchanged glances and looked toward Cole with mutual understanding.

You're the one who knows him, so you should be the one to speak.

Cole felt frustrated internally, but he still stepped forward and called out tentatively, "Roy, is that you?"

The possibility that Roy was being controlled by a 'god' couldn't be ruled out entirely. This wasn't without precedent—gods who weren't skilled in telepathy and couldn't speak sometimes communicated by controlling humans instead of speaking directly.

"It's me, Uncle Cole," Roy replied with a laugh.

"Thank goodness, you're safe," Cole said, hearing the familiar tone and finally breathing a sigh of relief.

Glancing at the divine dragon who remained silent and seemingly lost in thought, Cole asked cautiously, "Who is this?"

"Its name is Mew, and it's a very powerful Legendary Pokémon," Roy explained. "Mew doesn't like others to see its real body. What you're seeing now is its transformation into another 'god'."

"Transforming into another 'god'... how is that possible?!" Cole was stunned, and the investigation team members also showed expressions of disbelief.

Transform was a move that, currently, only Ditto could learn. With Transform, Ditto could take on the appearance of any Pokémon, even Legendary Pokémon.

It sounded overpowered, but in reality, Transform had significant flaws, and Ditto wasn't particularly strong—not even suitable for serious combat.

The reason was simple. When Ditto used Transform to copy an opponent's appearance, it only gained the opponent's appearance, type, ability, and basic move data. However, it couldn't copy the opponent's actual strength, stats, or move mastery.

In other words, whatever Ditto's power level was before transforming remained the same after transformation.

Not only that, but after transforming, Ditto would suddenly have to use unfamiliar types, moves, and abilities. Without proper familiarity with the new form, Ditto's effectiveness would actually decrease rather than improve.

That's why Cole couldn't believe what he was hearing—that Mew had transformed into another god while displaying the overwhelming presence of "God's Domain Level" power.

Because this would mean that Mew had perfectly mastered the moves, type, and abilities of whatever it had transformed into.

"There's nothing surprising about it," Roy said with a calm smile that seemed to downplay the miraculous.

"Mew has mastered every move that exists in this world. No matter what Pokémon it transforms into, it can perfectly display one hundred percent of that Pokémon's strength—even Legendary Pokémon are no exception. Gods are simply one of Mew's many forms."

As if to confirm his statement, the dragon beneath Roy's feet began to emit a brilliant light, and its form started changing rapidly.

Soon, a new divine being appeared before everyone's eyes—a god that professional trainers had heard of to some degree.

Ho-Oh.

Not only that, but the overwhelming presence emanating from this Ho-Oh seemed to be at the God's Domain level as well.

Before long, Mew transformed into yet another god. This time, it became a massive bird with pristine white plumage, a light blue belly, and a mask-like structure around its eyes.

Lugia.

The reputation of this sea god was no less impressive than Ho-Oh's, and it was also the first great god to descend upon the earth. The overwhelming presence emanating from its body remained at the God's Domain level.

"Impossible!" everyone gasped in unison, and no one questioned Roy's words any longer.

In this world, there actually existed such a powerful 'god'—one for whom Ho-Oh and Lugia were merely transformation options.

This was absolutely terrifying.

The investigation team members thought carefully about the implications and felt chilled to the bone.

Watching the investigation team members who had been completely convinced by his performance, Roy quietly sighed in relief.

Of course, Mew wasn't nearly as powerful as he had claimed.

In fact, while Mew did have a very high level, its combat ability wasn't particularly strong among first-tier gods. It had once been chased and thoroughly beaten by Mewtwo through eight different locations.

Mew also hadn't mastered every move in existence. At the very least, it couldn't grasp the unique signature powers of each 'god' even when transforming into them.

Powers like Ho-Oh's Sacred Fire, Zekrom's Fusion Bolt and Bolt Strike, or Dialga's Roar of Time and Palkia's Spacial Rend were beyond Mew's reach.

Without these key signature moves, Mew's transformed 'god' forms could only achieve about seventy to eighty percent of the original's strength at most, making them less effective in battle than Mew's own natural form.

But so what?

What does any of that have to do with me promoting Mew's reputation?

Since Roy had decided to join the Tree Of Beginning Company and become the head of the company's foreign relations department—essentially serving as a divine envoy—he certainly didn't mind exaggerating his boss's capabilities.

The appearance of Arlo had made Roy realize that he was still far too conspicuous, and the potential and power he had displayed were enough to make many people willing to take dangerous risks to target him.

In this regard, China's protection for him had its limits.

Fortunately, fortune and misfortune were intertwined. The World Tree's mystical realm had descended, Mew had chosen Lucario to be the aura hero, and it had chosen him to serve as the divine envoy.

In this situation, the more Mew's power was exaggerated, the less likely people would be to target Roy directly.

Just like now—the investigation team captain became increasingly nervous as he listened, and quickly said, "Master Mew, I sincerely apologize for entering your domain without first obtaining your permission."

He wasn't willing to let his country offend such a powerful Legendary Pokémon.

"Captain, you don't need to worry," Roy said reassuringly. "Not only is Mew incredibly powerful—truly the greatest among all gods—but it's also very magnanimous. It's a wise elder, much like Ho-Oh, and won't hold this matter against you. In fact, all the gods in the Pokémon world who have heard Mew's name praise its noble character."

Hearing this, Mew felt embarrassed.

This is so ridiculous... please stop, please stop...

If my old friends hear this, how will I be able to face other Pokémon in the future?

Mew hastily used telepathy to urge Roy to get to the main point quickly.

Roy continued, "In the future, Mew will grant me full authority to negotiate matters concerning this mystical realm. Please inform the Alliance of this arrangement."

The investigation team members looked at each other in bewilderment. They had never expected that Roy, who had originally been caught up in the dimensional disturbance, would suddenly become a noble envoy.

An envoy—meaning one who conveys divine messages.

In the past century of history, there had been several divine envoys. The earliest envoy was the "Peace Messenger" chosen by Ho-Oh, who became the founder of the Pokémon League and served as the Alliance's first president.

An envoy's strength wasn't necessarily overwhelming, but with divine backing, even Elite trainers wouldn't dare to offend them.

Roy had originally been a stunning genius, but now he had become a noble divine envoy as well.

The European investigation team members felt numb with disbelief. This Roy was truly extraordinary.

So jealous... it's making me sick...

Cole's face flushed with joy. With the addition of a divine envoy to China, the country's international status and national deterrent power would rise to an entirely new level.

More importantly, China would undoubtedly gain significant rights in exploring this mystical realm.

The mystical realm investigation team emerged after spending less than an hour inside the dimensional space.

French officials initially thought some accident had occurred, but when they saw that none of the investigation team members had died or sustained injuries, they were immediately puzzled.

What's the situation? Have we surrendered again?

The investigators truthfully reported everything they had seen and heard within the mystical realm, which immediately caused an uproar.

"Mew? How could there be such a powerful Pokémon?"

"Capable of perfectly transforming into any Pokémon, even 'gods' are no exception... that's too exaggerated. I don't believe it."

"Wait, I think I've read the name Mew in some ancient texts from archaeological sites. The author believed that Mew was the ancestor of all Pokémon and possessed the genetic information of every Pokémon species..."

"Well, this is..."

"Let's verify this information first."

After careful investigation, they discovered that Mew's existence was mentioned in numerous ancient texts, and high-ranking officials from major countries became half-convinced and decided to seek verification.

Where could they go for confirmation? Naturally, to the 'gods' who maintained good relationships with various countries.

Just as China had developed a good relationship with Latias, all major countries had established partnerships with divine beings.

For example, Princess Diancie of the Diamond Mining Country's mystical realm, which maintained good relations with France...

For example, Manaphy, who inhabited the Sea Temple near Oceania...

For example, the Forces of Nature trio in North America...

When these gods heard about how powerful Mew had supposedly become, they were stunned.

They hadn't seen Mew for at least a hundred years, and they genuinely weren't certain whether this news was accurate.

However, Mew's level and potential were indeed very high—higher than all of theirs—and it ranked among the top tier of first-class gods.

It was just that Mew had never been interested in battling. It had always been quite laid-back and had never focused on training. Its abilities and strength had been accumulated gradually over an extremely long period of time.

If Mew had truly begun working hard to achieve the performance described in these 'rumors', it didn't seem entirely impossible.

Furthermore, given Mew's playful personality, it didn't seem like the type to boast about combat prowess falsely.

It appeared the reports were genuine.

Mew, who had always been content with a relaxed lifestyle, had apparently become incredibly dedicated. It seemed that the destruction of the Pokémon world had greatly motivated it.

Many Legendary Pokémon expressed their approval and gave Mew their wholehearted support.

Now, the rumors were completely confirmed.

"One of the strongest gods, Mew."

This title spread like wildfire throughout the community.

From that point forward, whenever Mew was mentioned within Alliance circles, people dared not refer to it directly out of respect. Instead, they respectfully called it "that Master."

The person who became famous alongside Mew was Roy, who served as "that Master's" divine envoy.
