Calyrex's majesty as a ruler was inversely proportional to his height - his authority was immense.

Even the rebellious and unruly pseudo-legendary groups were willing to bow their heads and show respect merely upon seeing his mount.

The Glastrier beneath Roy kicked its hooves restlessly. This was the first time it had been ridden by someone other than Calyrex, and it felt uncomfortable.

But this also demonstrated how much the master valued this human.

The temperamental Glastrier, understanding this, could only endure the situation.

Roy looked at the two pseudo-legendary groups that had bowed in submission. Just as he was about to dismiss the Garchomp group, he suddenly noticed four familiar auras approaching.

His seniors were here too?

The surprise lasted only a moment in Roy's mind. With his quick thinking, combined with the current situation, he immediately deduced the approximate cause and effect.

Well... Roy sighed.

This was his fault.

He had brought his teammates to a level that didn't belong to them.

If this had been the level of their previous championship team, with seven or eight professional-level fighters working together, subduing pseudo-legendary Pokémon wouldn't have been difficult.

"Junior, you're finally here," Anya said happily.

"Yeah, I had some things to handle first."

After Roy greeted them, everyone's attention focused on the Glastrier beneath him.

For trainers, a Pokémon they had never seen before was like unexplored virgin territory, arousing curiosity and excitement.

"This Pokémon is..."

"Ahem." Roy saw their curious expressions, as if they wanted to touch it, and quickly reminded them: "He's not my Pokémon, but the ruler of this place. He's a messenger lent to me temporarily. By the way, Glastrier, they want to capture Pokémon from the pseudo-legendary groups. Could you..."

"Neigh!" Glastrier whinnied, expelling strong cold air from its nostrils.

The cold air enveloped Elon and the others, imbuing them with its aura.

"Alright, as long as you carry his scent, you can move around freely and communicate peacefully with the pseudo-legendary Pokémon," Roy explained with a smile.

Everyone showed surprise. When Philip wanted to ask something, he was stopped by Elon, who looked uncertain.

After Roy left on Glastrier, Philip wondered: "Team leader, why did you stop me?"

"You're being dense," Elon said irritably. "Your perception is terrible... Haven't you considered what kind of Pokémon could make pseudo-legendaries bow their heads with just one breath? What kind of existence could allow us to move freely here? And what kind of being would be the owner of such a Pokémon?"

Hearing this, Philip's eyes gradually widened as he realized an incredible possibility.

Anya, who was well-read, grasped the truth faster. She murmured: "The legendary king and his black and white mounts..."

What Roy was riding was the mount of that 'God' - a Legendary Pokémon...

How was this possible?

It had only been one day since they arrived at the Crown Tundra, and Roy had already formed a connection with the legendary king.

Several people gasped in shock.

This networking ability was worthy of the strongest genius in China.

Under the leadership of the current Salamence patriarch, they arrived at the group's habitat.

Their territory was on a mountain not far from the freshwater lake, while their rival Garchomp group occupied another mountain across from them.

Both Salamence and Garchomp fed on Flying-type Pokémon, and the two groups often engaged in aerial battles over food sources.

Regarding Roy's arrival as an 'envoy,' the Salamence group seemed cautious and curious. Some bold Bagon hid in corners, secretly watching him.

Roy sensed their auras and found several young ones with good temperaments.

Well... if that problem child didn't meet his requirements, these little ones wouldn't be bad alternatives.

If that didn't work out, he could always visit the Garchomp territory next door.

In any case, Roy wanted a companion proficient in flying.

The Pokémon on his team could fly using various techniques, but none were truly "specialized" fliers.

The importance of aerial superiority couldn't be overstated.

The Salamence patriarch bore a vicious claw mark over his right eye - a badge of honor from countless battles that hadn't faded but remained as a permanent reminder.

Roy mentally nicknamed it Scarface.

Led by Scarface, Roy walked toward the problem child's residence. Based on their direction, the dwelling was obviously at the border of the group's territory.

Scarface was puzzled about why Roy would seek out that 'waste.'

When it learned that Roy intended to capture the Shelgon, even knowing this was a human valued by the 'King,' it couldn't help but laugh.

"Why are you laughing?"

Scarface said it remembered something amusing.

Before Roy could ask, it began explaining on its own!

Over the past ten years, the Salamence group had undergone a leadership change. The powerful former leader had died from serious injuries after a battle.

But the ones who inherited the leadership position weren't the two geniuses everyone had favored at the time.

It was Scarface itself!

"Oh?" Roy was curious. He could understand why Shelgon, unable to evolve, lost the competition for leadership, but why hadn't the other female Bagon won the position?

Had she died young?

Scarface shook its head and revealed the truth.

After the female Bagon evolved into Salamence, she watched her once-intimate partner continue growing in size without improving in strength, and her attitude gradually became distant. Later, whenever any Pokémon dared mention the other party, she would launch merciless attacks.

Her strength after evolving into Salamence was indeed worthy of being called 'genius.' In just a few years, she had broken through racial limits, becoming comparable to the elders.

But her mood grew increasingly worse, her temper more irritable, and she frequently attacked and berated fellow group members. Every time she saw Shelgon, she would angrily approach and beat him up.

The other Pokémon in the group didn't dare speak out against the future matriarch, so they could only vent their frustration on Shelgon.

A cranky female, a vicious cycle... Roy showed a thoughtful expression.

He felt that what this 'queen' displayed wasn't pure disgust.

When women were truly bored with someone, they typically showed 'indifference.'

Getting irritable upon seeing someone actually indicated they still held feelings.

Could it be that being stubborn had ruined her life?

"What happened next?"

"Roar! (She later ran away with a human.)"

"???" Roy was stunned for a moment before confirming that the 'human' Scarface mentioned was indeed a person, not another Pokémon.

The female Salamence had left with a trainer to pursue a stronger path.

Just last year, that trainer had returned with Salamence and beaten up Shelgon again.

What had Shelgon done wrong that everyone had to hit it daily... Roy said helplessly, "Do you know who that trainer was?"

Scarface shook its head, then nodded: "Roar! (I don't know the name, but I heard someone call him 'Elite'!)"

Elite, Salamence...

Roy suddenly remembered that the Salamence he had ridden during the opening ceremony of the school team selection competition had belonged to a Russian Elite trainer.

This...

Roy looked uncomfortable.

It couldn't be such a coincidence, could it?
