Valentine had done the calculations.
There was no way that he could fully make everything in the Future of Humanity Project, such as the structure of the Education and Training Academy, open source - it was like giving a toddler a knife - they weren't ready for it and might cause more harm than good.
As a result, he would aim to make the world better - in secret.
He would create a Dynasty, a clan, a family - and imbue them with the skills, ability and training that would steer the world towards a brighter, better Future.
They would do this by enabling his Family to live the best life they could by giving them all the opportunities that he could provide them, and at the same time, also passing on Epigenetic training and knowledge to all people globally so that they could also have the power to improve their lives.
That said, just as everyone was entitled to live life their own way, he wasn't going to force anyone to do anything they didn't want to - however, for his own children, he was responsible for giving them the best upbringing he could.
Of course, what they chose to do with their Education and opportunities was up to them - but in the end, Valentine's plan was this - that his Family - his Future Dynasty - would make the world better through living lives of excellence - whatever that looked like - be it in the creative arts, sciences and medicine, leadership, technology, sports.
Regardless of their calling, they would shape the Future of the World and by raising kind, visionary, empathetic and Aware children, who in turn would continue building on the process, the Future of Humanity would be steered towards increasingly positive prospects!

It was against this overarching backdrop that Valentine met briefly with Jane, explaining that this truly was not a traditional model of parenting, but something that was aiming to improve on the current status quo.
That there were no guarantees, but that he of course would do his utmost to support his Family and that she would be considered part of that - that being a parent, that taking care of Human Life, was a commitment, with pros and cons - not pressuring or coercing, but simply giving her the information she needed to make an informed decision.
Jane considered it carefully. Life is full of decisions - but occasionally, there are some decisions that, real or imagined, seem to stand out, particularly in hindsight, for their significance in changing the course and trajectory of one's life.
She knew that she was currently at the crossroads.
She could leave the room, live a normal life, get married to someone maybe, work her job, save and buy a house, do things traditionally...
Or she could opt-in, become part of something bigger, be supported for life by this handsome CEO x K-pop star guy Valentine, and become a mom with opportunities to live life to the full... to become all that she could be. Move over, Yoga and Pilates. She would have access to the best systems and mentors for Health and Wellbeing…
Food, Shelter… All the daily necessities were all taken care of. Her only task was to become exceptional - an exceptional mom, and an exceptional human being...
Decisions, decisions...

In the end, there was one thing that had tipped her over.
It was, funnily enough, nothing to do with her own wellbeing at all.
It was simply a memory.
She had been young, and always wanted to be a singer.
But sadly, she hadn't got the opportunity to learn music as a child, and before she knew it, just studying, and eventually working became her life.
What if... I could have given a younger me that chance? To become the best that they could be?
Obviously, it wasn't the same.
But it was in fact the main reservation she had about raising children - that she would let them down, or bring them into a world filled with challenges and pain.
In the end, for her personally, this point was what made her decide.
To see someone, my child, fulfill their potential, for them to grow up happy, healthy, and loved...
This in itself was more than worth the price of admission.
